Description: The richly decorated interior complete with flower strewn marble fountain...
The richly decorated interior complete with flower strewn marble fountain, mosaics and piles of heavily embroidered cushions contribute to the authentic ambiance of this south Kensington restaurant. The candle lit alcoves and low Moroccan music add to the exotic but relaxed mood at Pasha. The striking interior is a suitable backdrop to some of the best North African cooking you’ll find anywhere in the world. The menus has the classic cous cous dishes and slow cooked tagines plus some new takes on North African Maghrebi cuisine. Belly dancers perform here every evening, adding to the spicy vibe.

Good Middle Eastern Food

Great food, good service but tables are very close to each other and it felt like you were having dinner with the people sat at the table next to you, almost as if you were sharing table.

I enjoyed this place and it would of got 5 stars if the service had been a bit more attentive. Found myself having to wait to order each time but other than that, it was friendly and I left feeling full and satisfied!

The décor seems authentic but the food is mediocre with very small portions. When I asked for a glass of tap water the waiter told me that they only served still or sparkling bottled water, which I later found out is against the law as any restaurant which serves alcohol has to provide free tap water. An unpleasant very expensive... More

Well the decor is really authentic and lovely. The seating is more like a lounge style seating. Not quite formal chairs. So real intimacy. The food was ok which is disappointing for the high price. Based on value I wouldn't go there again.

We had a private room for two at this place which was like a hareem. We entered our little room through some small wooden doors which revealed luxurious velvet pillows and seating around our table. Food was fantastic and service was great. Will go again

Pasha is an exotic restaurant not far from the tube with a grand door taking you to the ground and lower ground where the restaurant is located. Last time I was there I had to ask for proper table and not low tables but really loved their nibbles and most importantly the aubergine chips.

Group of us decided we would celebrate New Years Eve in Pasha. Wasn't all that bad but then it wasn't all that good. Bearing in mind the price we would have been better somewhere else. Fortunately the company was great, we made the most of the evening and welcomed in the New Year. Is Pasha worth it? Probably not. Food... More

We went to Pasha in islington to celebrate some colleagues birthdays, a group of 25 went along for the evening. We enjoyed some lovely Turkish food. Consider the size of the group and it being a friday evening we were served speedily and they were happy to allow members of the group to use the ala carte menu rather then... More

Booked a party of 10 people and gave my debit card info for the reservation. Everyone turned up and they forced us to choose from a fixed menu which required everyone to pay at least £40 each. They refused to offer the a la carte menu for parties of over 6 people, they failed to mention this when I made... More

They charge for food you didn't order, including a service charge. They charged us 4 pounds for lousy bread we didnt order, 4 pounds for tap water, charged for 3 glasses of wine when we had 2. Read some reviews on other sights and you will see the same story..I wish I had read them before we went.

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
