Great food. Ambience ok

I wanted a romantic evening. It has been touted as a romantic spot but here's the issue. The service and food is top notch but it is louder than expected. We were moved to a more intimate corner but it's not a romantic venue in that respect. It's too noisy and another bug bear is this. Not with the... read more

We arrived early and were excited to have scored a reservation at Momo. We love Moroccan food so were eager to try Momos. We were first seated in the main dining room on the edge of a busy waiter corridor, we asked to be moved to an upper vestibule to the right of the kitchen area. We were moved and... More

Morrocean dood and atmosphere with a friendly staff. The food was very tasty and fun to order different dishes that you can share at the table. A nice experience with a good location

Not like it used to be, but still one of the best Moroccan restaurant in London. The couscous was great, but not enough for me.

Had the scallops and prawn starters both excellent but very light. Then shared the chicken couscous and the Mixed grill, food all really good but a little pricey. Dessert menu also looked good but didn't indulge

Came here as we were passing by. Almost everyone that works here has some connection to North Africa. The food is truly authentic. The service is on par. The ambience puts you in the Marrakech medina. Highly recommend.

I recently dined here with a group of girl friends. We arrived early for our reservation so we were seated in the bar area which was so warm and inviting. As one would expect from a Moroccan restaurant. Gorgeous lamps hung from the ceilings and the smell of flavoured tobaccos was enticing. We had a humous starter which was the... More

Good food and overall great décor were off set by expensive smallish portions, restaurant being too dark and staff more interested in maximising what you order than serving. Adding 13% service charge was a bit rich.

Momo is a vibrant, noisy, fun restaurant. The venue is great for groups and couples, although I wouldn't recommend it for business. Typically they cram you in and it can get very cosy with neighbouring tables, but no one seems to mind as it is all part of the ambience. In our group we ordered a variety of Tagines and... More

Staying in Mayfair

Neighborhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
