The Buzz of Moroccan cuisine

Visited the place last Friday night. A good spot to hit for an early dinner before it gets too busy (after 8:30PM). Staff very helpful but not always attentive as had to ask more than once for condiments. Lamb tagine just tremendous and tender. You'll love it. A place to come back to to try the... read more

Visited MOMO and was really impressed. The food was amazing and it had a lovely atmosphere. The staff were really friendly and the setting had a very authentic Moroccan feel with low Lightning and comfy sofas! I would recommend this highly.

First time in this restaurant but i was not disappointed. We had a very good meal with mixed starters, different tagines, a bunch of deserts and pleasant wine. Service was ok, they were very helpful when it came to giving advises, but when it came to execution it was not good. Mix up of orders, forgetting orders etc. Sure, the... More

We had to repeat our order as the waiter didn't even look at us as we made our order. He looked very uninterested and didn't listen to us at all. Food came and was OK, but it was not what i expected at all. I will never come back, nor recommend this place as when you wanted to charge us... More

Im a regular at this restaurant and I was always well served by a Moroccan waiter. He's very pleasant and has an amazing service. I had a very good experience at Momo cafe', had a great lunch and I enjoyed all the different desserts. Most of all, I loved the location, very very cozy and comfortable. I would have definitely give it the 5 stars if it wasn't for the shameful price of their hookah. 30 pounds to smoke a small hookah with only... More

Dear Giacomo P, Thank you for your review and the time you took to write it. I am sorry for your disappointment with our Sheesha. Every places are making their Hookas/Sheesha in various ways. We visited Momo for a friend's birthday - had a lovely corner table which was tricky to get into (very squishy seat cushions) but comfortable once in! The food is stunning and our waitress was fab in recommending dishes that we might like and the best accompaniments (eg. bread always better than cous cous). The drinks service was appallng -... Amazing Morrocan gem just behind the shops of Regent St. Great food, good wine, prices not bad. Waiter a good laugh.

Staying in Mayfair

Neighborhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
