Once again I gave an opportunity to a place without checking its references before going. The food was fair, but really really expensive, and the amount of meat in the dishes was ridiculous. A bottle of water (500ml) 4.5pounds, and 4 glasses of a really bad mint tea 12 pounds. Yes, they charged us 12 pounds for 30cl of hot... More

Wow, what a great experience! Service was perfect, food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere is very unique! I'd definitely recommend it! In fact, already did and can't wait to go back! Try the scallops, fresh tuna tartar and fish tagine... Yummy! Big time!

Ventured to Momo last Saturday night with friends and once again it was a fantastic evening. 2 of us had the Lamb Tagine which is a real favourite, 1 had the Lamb Shank and 1 the mixed grill. All four of us loved the food. This is the 4th time myself and my wife have taken friends to Momo and... More

The food was tasty and we'll presented...the service was as I would expect for a 14% service charge...we had lunch outside which was pleasant until a party sat next to our table none of them eating and three of them chain smoked cigarettes engulfing us in their foul fumes....we asked to move to have desert but we're told this was... The service was terrible. The prices were extortionate. I had hot sticky sauce spilt all over my sued skirt and after all this, they decided to add 13% service and argued when I wanted to reduce it to 12.50% I thought the whole things was awful and I never complain about anything.

We had a lovely afternoon tea. We chose the 'special' option which came with a delicious mint cocktail. There was a great selection of savoury and sweet nibbles, two scones each and as much mint tea as we could drink. The staff were attentive, my only criticism is that they were a little over zealous with clearing away plates/glasses and... More

Whenever I'm in London I usually have a meze lunch (little sumptuous and very tasty plates, typical oriental food) there, with strong mint tea. It's nice to sit outside just minutes from Piccadilly Circus. It's a great place to go solo or with friends. Inside the cafe sells all kinds of Moroccan souvenirs like lamps, etc.

Staying in Mayfair

Neighborhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
