When you have that ice cream craving and just want to have a nice little sit down eating some good ice cream without the hassle of being pressured to order a main etc, this is the place to go. Nice and simple interior with some lovely pictures of possibly Southern italy (that's me guessing it's Minori but could be completely... More

Having been coming to Marine since I was a young child I was very sorry to learn it had been sold. They claim they bought the Marine Ices ice cream recipes. The ice cream is pretty good but not quite the same and there are not nearly the variety there used to be. The menu is small. The restaurant is... More

A standard Italian menu, good value and perfect for a meal before heading to the Roundhouse for a gig. Quick service as well.

Sad to say that I have been going to this iconic very Italian restaurant for ages.....and that more than a year ago it changed hands ......it is now run by Ponti's, a very well established but very average Italian type deli / coffee shop / sandwich shop..... This was a sad discovery.....as the Manzi family had owned and managed this... More

Took the kids for a weekend ice cream and it was all very average. The ice cream was dull, it just tasted as if it were from the supermarket. Considering the ice cream options around, Golders Hill Park and St. Johns Wood it really needs to change. Ironically the savoury food they were serving, especially the pizza's, looked good.

Trusted Italian that I'd definitely recommend for the food and ice cream. Unfortunately the restaurants interior does not come anywhere near the standard if the food and in fact let's the food down. However despite this marine ices is a trusted favourite.

Had dinner here two days in a row. Nice food, which is not top end but more like family type nice - and with an OK price tag. Basically it says it all, that I went here twice.

Under Trading Standards regulations they should be forced to change the name because the current owners are trading on a history that does not belong to them. My family have been going here for over 40 years and we will not be going again. A part of London history is now dead. The ice creams used to be made on... More

What was a fab local institution sadly is no more. Ate here many times in over 20 years. Decided to revisit before going to the Roundhouse a couple of weeks ago, thinking it would be quick and reliable Things didnt seem the same, but it was 4 years since last visit. Ordered cold platter starter for 2 which, after taking... More

The point of this place is the sundaes and ice creams which are impressive and certainly wowed my nieces aged 10 and 12. Everything else is standard Italian fare of a very undistinguished quality and my perception is that standards have slipped since my last visit. Service was cheerful but our waitress was new and struggled. The manager completely forgot... More
