Very good quality food. Not cheap, but really good quality ingredients and it showed in the end product. A little over £200.00 for four including aperitif, a bottle of wine and desert wine. Already planned a return visit.

I came here yesterday (25th August 2014) for the first time with family after we saw it advertised in the waitrose magazine, we didn't have to wait long for a table, we got given a complimentary bottle of Water while one of the waiters talked us through the menu & specials board. The restaurant was Really busy and had a... More

Had been meaning to visit Polpo for ages but was very disappointed. Food was was too minimal and overpriced for what it was - really lacking in flavour. The bill still came to over £60 for two people, really not worth it. Such a shame!

I love this little restaurant it has a quirky charm which is quite unique and the food was delighttful. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The small plate concept is great for enjoying a drink with friends and ordering lots of different dishes and sharing. Tapas+ if you like. I will be returning next time I am in town... More

I love this restaurant as it is so easy. It is in a fabulous location as just off Regent Street so perfect for popping in while in the west end. It serves little plates and the meat balls and fried fish are hard to beat. They do regularly change the menu which is good but please put the cauliflower dish... More

I was in polpo several times for both drinks only and food. The place is always pretty busy, I would recommend for you to make a reservation. The food is typical Venetian food. Among my favourite dishes there are the fritto misto (fish) piadina with meatballs, focaccia. You should also try the typical Venetian drink: aperol spritz, one of the... More

My first port of call for food when I'm in the West End. Small (and good value) delicious plates of Italian food and I've yet to find fault with the dishes. The deserts are fab too. It's a no-reservations place, which some people don't like, but it suits the casual dining experience. And it's Soho in London, so chill, have... More

What a great find in London. Small plates, great wine and a fantastic staff. They really got the whole thing down. The food was awesome, meatballs, flat-breads, cheese's just fantastic. Would definitely recommend hitting this place.

Nice place for a drink, but not the best for food. Tapas style dishes but poorly made. No flavour. Far from the Italian philosophy.

I can't think of anything better than tapas style italian food, and Polpo doesn't disappoint. The menu changes constantly so you can go back again and again and try something new each time. You have to queue but it's worth the wait. They recommend 5-6 dishes between 2, and we always order 5 between us and I always leave stuffed!... More
