Lovely French restaurant in heart of Chelsea (quiet road between Kings Road and Fulham Road) – feels like you’re in a restaurant in a neighbourhood of Paris – but instead of French people you’ve got posh Sloaney locals. We choose this restaurant for my birthday lunch on Saturday (for 13 people) as I had a lovely dinner there in the... More

This was a celebration lunch, so we returned to one of our favourite places in London with an authentic French feel, excellent attentive staff and always reliable food. After an absence of 3 years, we were amused that the clientele is unchanged - this is still the place for the elegant, older set. We enjoyed delicious, light Crab Salad with... More

This is my favourite London restaurant, but I don't want everyone going there! It is very French and lots of locals and regulars. Staff, delightful and food excellent.

I was invited as a guest to this charming restaurant. As I have eaten a few times at its sister restaurant, Garnier, in the Earls Court Road I was looking forward to it - and was not disappointed. It is a restaurant just like I remember from the 5 years we lived in Paris. We settled in with a dish... More

It's been a while since my last visit, but apart from a few staff not seen before, everything is unchanged: Le Colombier is still warm, cosy and welcoming. I went for my favourite order: steak tartare, frites and green salad. Impeccable, flavoursome and comforting!

I'm a regular quarterly visitor to Le Colombier. It has an understated French ambience and is accompanied by excellent and friendly service from all staff, and not from just those who know my face. The food is delicious; this last time I had cold sardines (served in their tin with the lid removed) with chopped onion and French toast, followed... More

The restaurant is a classic, always reliable, solid, old Londoners go there, great value for money. Always a safe bet, for business or roamnce, this is a great venue. Service is efficient, attentive, Didier a great manager and we loved the two young Venezuelan waitresses, passionate about their trade and provide a great service.

Lovely little french Heaven in Chelsea. A favourite of my mothers french boyfriend. Good food, good wine card with moderate suggestions from the house. Fair London prices. Great experience for a local french style place with a nice winter garden in the front, and a lovely dining room. Must make reservation!
