The service is excellent. My salmon was perfectly done. Great selection of wines. Just a short walk from the South Kensington tube stop.

We returned here, as we often do, for an evening with family. It had been a very hot day in London and yet the staff were welcoming and friendly and we were seated near the wide open window near the outer section, so cool but less crowded. We chose tian of crab, just the freshest and seared tuna, which was... More

old fashioned, audience on the seasoned side, but overall nie atmosphere, consistently good food (don't expect innovative), attentive service, good spot for a relaxed friday dinner

Warmly welcomed, staff appeared knowledgeable and efficient - a pleasant neighbourhood atmosphere. It was evident that several customers were regulars. Varied menu to suit most wishes. Dover sole was good, sweetbreads were nicely presented and tasty. We thought it expensive.

This place is very underestimated the food, service and whole experience are impossible to fault. But perhaps the best aspect is you can always get a table. The good is very consistent and they have the best steak tartare in London, the snails are also amazing. Get there early as the wine list has lots of very reasonably priced options... More

I liked the restaurant, all white tablecloths and dark blue chairs and awnings, but the food was awful. it was my fault, never order fish on a sunday, because it can never be fresh, and this fish was definitely not fresh, despite the assurances of my waiter, in fact I would say the fish had been frozen. I had ordered... More

We went there for dinner, and booking late had to take a 9 p.m. reservation. The food was excellent, especially the bread (which is poor in most restaurants) and the interesting observation was how many people were well-dressed, which even in this area is a surprise. If you have a choice, eat inside rather than the enclosed outside area, which... More

I had a delicious Carré d'Agneau: perfectly cooked and executed, melting. The service was very good as well. A nice private party room upstairs.

We have been going to Le Colombier for many years, and it never disappoints us. Patrick, the M'aitre D' is always welcoming, and goes out of his way to make everyone feel special. The food and service is faultless and the Prix Fixe menu is an absolute bargain. Food is simple and fresh, and the House Wines and House Champagnes... More
