We were disappointed to be kept waiting 25 minutes for our table. During this time the maitre de hotel assured us our table would only be five minutes, several times. We were not disappointed in the food which was on the whole very good. However the chicken Milanese was very plainly presented and the apricot tarte tatin was very messy.... More

I've been going to Le Caprice for years and it never disappoints me. Great food , excellent service without being fussy and if you are staying in the St James area the location is perfect.

There is a reason this restaurant has been here for ages and that is because it is impeccable. The service is quietly attentive and the food is quite delicious. Its relaxed but with oodles of style.

I love this restaurant because they do it right. I always feel at home and I feel looked after. Attentive but not intrusive with food I enjoy. What's not to like?

been to this restaurant already on. 2 separate visits to London and it is just lovely; very intimate setting, not at all touristy, and delicious menu offering, food presentation and service was very well. I highly recommend, enjoy!

Slick! The welcome, the room, the service (especially the service),the food, the ice bucket stands, the atmosphere. All very slick! Perfect after theatre experience. Caesar salad, magic! Chopped steak & frites, yum! Chocolate mousse, a classic done well. Thank you Le Caprice for a great end to a fantastic night out in London's West End.

Staying in St. James's

Neighborhood Profile
St. James's
Perennially fashionable since the days of Henry VIII, the aristocratic “Clubland” of St James's is a premier destination for high end craft and bespoke design. Here you’ll lose count of the Royal Warrants (which indicate that the Royal Family patronizes the establishment) seen in shop front windows, even during a short stroll to bordering Green Park or St James’s Park. With the brightly lit and constantly buzzing junction of Piccadilly Circus at its northeast corner and none of Central London too far away, this is an surprisingly central and accessible part of town, especially given its prosperous demeanor.
