A very pleasant night out

Despite being a little pricey , a great meal , nice experience and deffo worth the money. Starter of crispy duck with watermelon was innovative and had the wow factor . Main of Sea Bass in a Thai dressing was well presented and very tasty. Wine was nice and in line with the pricing strategy... read more

Late booking for dinner, service was incredibly fast and warm hearted, enjoyed sea bass and sea bream dishes, perfect preparation. Have been there several times, but this time it was simply great.

Beautiful restaurant. Very good buzz, tasty food, someone on the piano and not as stuck up as you might expect! Great location just beside Green Park...definitely recommend. Do book in advance.

I love this place and come to it every time I am in London. I particularly like the sophisticated atmosphere, the wonderful wine list, the continental food prepared to perfection, and the fantastic service. Even dining alone at the bar is fun as the bartenders really take care of you.

Lovely ambience with piano playing, totally fitted the art deco theme of the restaurant. Service was attentive and prompt. The food was very good, especially the starters of seared scallops with garlic and chill also the crispy duck salad with watermelon. Mains were equally as good. Too full for deserts! Our first visit but will definitely be returning!

My friend and I had lunch here while in London on a city break. The service was top notch from my first telephone enquiry until we left the restaurant. We actually tookadvantage of a offer which as well as the lunch with champagne also gave us tickets to an exhibition and a make up goodie bag - this was excellent... More

In a very nice, posh, setting. Food was quite good but service was a bit rushed with barely a break between courses. While I would recommend, was stereotypically stuffy.

Went to Le Caprice for dinner with 10 others for a special event last Friday, and was seriously impressed with the level of service and the quality of the food and wine - we had a brilliant night!

Staying in St. James's

Neighborhood Profile
St. James's
Perennially fashionable since the days of Henry VIII, the aristocratic “Clubland” of St James's is a premier destination for high end craft and bespoke design. Here you’ll lose count of the Royal Warrants (which indicate that the Royal Family patronizes the establishment) seen in shop front windows, even during a short stroll to bordering Green Park or St James’s Park. With the brightly lit and constantly buzzing junction of Piccadilly Circus at its northeast corner and none of Central London too far away, this is an surprisingly central and accessible part of town, especially given its prosperous demeanor.
