Three of us went to Laughing Gravy for a pre theatre meal. Service was good but menu was short and did not offer enough choice. Description of the dishes had very little to do with reality of what actually arrived to our table. Portions were small and were not spiced at all. Plain food badly presented and very expensive. Poor... More

I'm a London resident and had family coming from out of town. They wanted something 'traditional' being a bit folksy and I wanted to impress them a bit. Laughing Gravy is the perfect blend of traditional tastes with a contemporary statement. You can feel the passion that goes into creating the dishes. You can sense the care to detail. You... More

We went here prior to a trip to the old Vic. The food was lovely, looked like something out of Master Chief. We would certainly go there again.

Visually this restaurant cannot be beaten. It's cozy yet stylish interior has the wow factor you expect from the exterior and it's buzzy atmosphere makes you feel like you're dining with the cool kids from the block. We arrived on Sunday afternoon without a reservation. It was extremely busy and we were told we could grab the empty table by... More

This restaurant is an absolute gem the food was delicious and adventurous, many compliments to the chef. Value was exceptionally good for London We booked this after reading reviews for the area we were staying in and nearly walked past it, so glad we never. Loved the mushroom and spinach dish and hubby especially liked the lamb with dumplings and... More

Went for a birthday Sunday lunch and the food was great. The roast beef was delicious. Beautifully presented and yummy flavours. Service was a little slow but I think that was down to short staff on a busy day. Would Definately recommend and go again!

Best and prettiest salad we had on our trip- a bit of a walk from the tube but near a bus stop. Good place to go before seeing a play by the globe theatre although you still need to take a short bus ride to get to your play.

Helpful and caring staff, excellent food - tasty and good quality ( i had lamb). It was a bit difficult to find, no big signs and I had some issues with WIFI (bad weather was blaimed:-)

I had an early dinner and happily spent hours sitting and eating the most delicious and beautifully presented food with wonderful choices music from another era in the background. The waiters were attentive and friendly. I will be returning again and again, guaranteed! Great for any occasion as going there IS an occasion!

What a gem the Laughing Gravy restaurant turned out to be! Brilliant welcome followed by superb service while managing to sustain a relaxed atmosphere. Excellent range of dishes on the menu that didn't disappoint when they arrived on the table. Food is delightful in presentation and more importantly flavour.
