Description: La Trompette opened in 2001 and serves some of the best food in London but without the formality or prices associated with the capital’s top end establishments. We closed at the beginning of 2013 for a complete refurbishment, and have expanded to include a brand new kitchen, private dining and improved customer facilities. The new appearance has not changed the focus of the restaurant. The aim is as it always has been, to give all our guests the best possible dining experience from start to finish.

Having had such a disastrous experience late last year we thought it only right to give La Trompette another chance and thank goodness we did. The food is consistently good – one minor thing could do with a few more vegetables as an accompaniment. The starters we chose were all excellent as were the main courses; we all had a... More

Probably my favourite restaurant in Chiswick. The food is fantastic and the service excellent. Visited many times and never fails to impress.

Loved the place, for starters we had the foie and the crisp Cornish mackerel! To die for!!!!! Following by guinea crisp and the John Dory it was music for my palate! Heads down to the chef and the waitress Cristinne was so kind and made us feel very comfortable, the restaurant manager patra was great and very warm to us.... More

We booked on a Saturday night from 7pm and we were told to leave at 21.15 again which we thought is absolutely fine. The freshly baked bread is divine to start with, the starters were served within minutes after ordering it and if you order wine you will get a lovely, knowledgeable sommelier to tell you a bit more about... Hadn't been for 2 years, but it is still one of my favourites. Food exceptional. Atmosphere buzzing. They've extended into next door, so a few more tables. £45 for 3 courses is excellent value for the quality of the food. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending anyone to give it a try.

Well worth the drive to Chiswick. If anything, the non-central location makes this place more endearing as they had to fight harder to merit a Michelin star rating. Creative courses, attention to detail like the bread selection, generously staffed so you are never in need of anything. And the cheese selection is absolutely divine!

A wonderful evening, taking a friend for a birthday dinner. Food, service, ambience all excellent. One of those menus where everything appealed, so choices were hard to make. Very good quality French cuisine, expertly served. Wine list also offered an abundant selection. Not the easiest place to find but W4 means you're not paying West End prices...

Fantastic food and great service. There were so many things I wanted to order on the menu. The chocolates at the end were a lovely touch, they even gave us a few to take home with us. Definitely going back soon !!!

I've been to this restaurant for lunch. Wide variety of choices for both main course and desserts. I had Salmon rillette as a starter while my boyfriend had Foie gras, both were nice. My main was also superb, rib of Ayrshire beef (I think it was a slow cook) served with potato galette. The best always come last.. my dessert... More
