Our hotel concierge gave this place a big build-up - saying the food and wine list were exceptional. The :by the glass" list was disappointing for us so we ordered a half-bottle of Mersault. It had not been properly cellared and was not adequately chilled when served. The prawn appetizer was average. I found myself wishing the had concentrated less... More

The place, the service and the food were excellent. I recommend the black cod which was exquisite! Expect a very quiet restaurant.

Having walked in first impressions were good, indeed the starter and wine were excellent and the sommelier was very accommodating when I said I wanted to spend less than £100 on a bottle of wine. However, the monkfish main course was so inconsistently cooked that I left the half that was raw in the middle (it was small in the... More

This restaurant is well worth a visit. Wow what an amazing place, amazing food and great hospitality. Probably the best meal we had all had in a very long time. Very impressed with both the quality and the superb presentation of the food -cooked to perfection. Service spot on - we had a stunning waitress from Sweden whom was attentive... More

Went on Friday night to find it was relatively quiet. Lovely decor, very good and highly attentive service. Exceptionally good and imaginative cooking. Marred by obscenely expensive wine list with no visible options at sensible prices. The 'pre-post theatre' menu wasn't forthcoming and the a la carte selections are all at top end prices. The nightclub underneath is a truely... More

Had lunch today for my husband's birthday. from starter to dessert AMAZING! Even their wine by glass didn't disappoint us. Must try: Beef tartare and the Black Cod. PS. The chef even wrote "Happy birthday" to my husband's dessert plate. Would definitely recommend and will surely come back.

Just 2 people, and we arrived on time for our booking at 6pm We indicated that we were dining pre-theatre, and needed to be clear by 7.15pm. We were ready to order within 5 minutes of arriving. Despite no less than 4 requests of the staff, and reminders of the time, by 7.10pm there was no sign of the main... More

We came here as a treat for my partners, brothers birthday. It was phenomonal. The decor inside was very glamourous but minimal. Not too try hard. The service is of the highest quality. The waiters are extremely knowledgeable on both the food and more importantly the wine. We were absolutely spoilt at dinner, champagne and oysters to start. Gaaah they... More

Went here on a double date and this was just amazing, Michelin-star worthy food that was intricately prepared. I would have done the price fixe if I could do it again. It made for a perfect evening. Duo of Foie Gras: Parfait & Pan Fried with Watermelon - my only complaint is that it was small. This was so interesting... More

If you love fine dining and special places this is a great local find. Have been taken here for my 21st birthday (some time ago now) I was absolutely dying to find another reason to go and I recently went again for another birthday. Dinner is fabulous with a great atmosphere and buzz. The staff are lovely and drinks are... More
