The best family fast food in London!

For a quick lunch or pre-theatre supper you could not do better than Kulu Kulu. We have been going there for years, introduced grandchildren to Japanese food there, and they now go on their own if they are in London, as it feels like home to them. Relaxed, helpful staff, always a welcoming smile... read more

Although I love all the sushi restaurants I've visited in London (and I've tried the whole range from top end Roka/Nobu to the little guys like this), I always gravitate back to Kulu Kulu. This unassuming restaurant in the heart of Soho dispenses with the over-the-top decor and often overpriced dishes and just delivers delicious sushi every time. Either choose... More

I just needed something fast without going to a mcds or something like that. They sat me immediately, the dishes were fresh and tasty and the pieces were huge! There were def some things i had no idea what they were, but overall this was a great experience.

Went to kula kula for lunch today while visiting a customer/friend. We had a fantastic lunch and I thought the portion and quality of the sushi was fantastic. Great place and will go against. Yo! Read and learn.

I have been visiting this conveyer belt sushi restaurant regularly for over 10 years and it remains one of my favourites although its one of those restaurants you could easily walk past without noticing it. Very little has changed in 10 years, the menu is pretty much the same, the prices are little higher which is to be expected. The... More

You will never find the best sushi at conveyor belt places but even so all the food tastes fresh and flavoursome. The pricing system works well and is very clear given the indications on the wall. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for small groups of people, it is a fun place to go!

The dishes range from £1.90 - £4. At the high end of the scale, you can get a soft shell crab hand roll for £4 which I thought was ok as you have an entire crab in it! It also tasted fairly fresh and good quality. If the restaurant was completely packed, I could imagine it being more uncomfortable as... More

Conveyor belt sushi at affordable prices - the soft shell crab hand rolls are very good, the potato salad is strangely very tasty, the scallop nigiri is good but it is very small, the tuna/salmon sashimi is lovely - think cut and decent portion size. Only negative is that the choices are quite limited and at certain times they bring... More

I decided to check out Kulu Kula last night before a cinema date and I was really pleasantly suprised. Had read some mixed reviews but on arrival we managed to get a seat around the conveyer belt right away, the service was super friendly and they were always looking out in anticipation for any of the customers needs. I liked... More

Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
