They definitely know their meats! The taste of the steaks is superb, they cook them perfectly and have great sides! Great starters too but not so great desserts. Not cheap but worth if you want good (excellent) meat!

As a regular to this restaurant we have to recommend it to everybody. The Roasts on a Sunday are excellent, and after trying several other supposedly brilliant London restaurants, none come close to The Hawksmoor (except perhaps the steaks in Buen Ayre). I can't recommend the Hawksmoor Spitalfields highly enough - service and food where both excellent and the steak surpassed any other I have eaten in London. We had a wonderful dinner for my fiances birthday. It wasn't cheap but it was worth every penny - we will certainly be returning.

I headed here with family for a birthday visit last month. Everything was pretty much as I had expected and been told: some of the best steak you'll ever taste, anywhere. Superb. But good things don't come cheap.

Everything about this place is amazing, the food, the service, the restaurant just everything. The bar staff were friendly, funny and polite, the table waiters/waitresses were brilliant.
