Enjoyed an excellent evening meal here as part of a business meeting. Our party of 5 arrived early so we had a few drinks at the bar. Excellent choice of cocktails. I was drinking cola and would have liked the soda drinks to be on draught instead of the tiniest little bottles. The meals everyone had were fantastic. As a... More

Went with my family on a recommendation from a friend who lives locally and we could not have chosen better. The service, which, as I think most of us would agree, often makes the difference between a good and a great experience, was exemplary; all the staff were friendly and well informed and gave just the right level of attentiveness.... The single, best meal I've had in London. 4 people had a boozy meal and thoroughly enjoyed the relaxed environment. Follow up emails were appreciated. Make sure you try the creamed spinach.

This is by the Far the best steak house in London !! 5* service, 5* food and great atmosphere. The only thing that would make this place better would be to have beer on tap so you can enjoy a nice cold pint with your steak !! Really impressed with this place and could not believe the steak tasted better... More

Awesome place, probably the best roast beef in London, little bit pricey though, but it is better to pay little extra to ensure good quality. I just order the roast beef, with the trimmings it is enough for a full lunch. I needed to wait 30minutes as they got many orders for roast at the same time, but the service... More

High quality steak meal in a friendly and atmospheric restaurant. Helpful and knowledgeable staff who were attentive throughout despite it being a hectic pre-Christmas Saturday. Handy for Spitalfields market. Highly recommended.

The restaurant itself is very understated, you fell like you're in a nice pub, but the food is the full works. I ordered a sirloin steak with half a lobster and macaroni cheese with fried mushrooms. Ive got to say, it was delicious. Quite pricey but definately high quality food.

Where's the Loster Mac n Cheese? Seemingly not available in this branch. The cornerstone of the evening - the large lump of cow - was great and the accompaniments good (even without the lobster the mac n cheese is worth it) and the house special desert - peanut cookie with salted caramel ice cream was excellent. The service was friendly... More

As ever the steak and triple cooked chips were excellent - badly let down by poor wine list - of the 5 different bottles our party chose chose only one or two were good the other three were sub standard quality as well as being overpriced.

I have been to this restaurant and perhaps one or two others in the group many times. It is the place for steaks in my opinion. The staff are excellent too. More space would be nice but this is London and the general hubbub (is that a word) means you do not feel your privacy is being invaded. The steaks... More
