My daughter challenged me to the six shot challenge - We entered the crypt and shared our shots with creature's from the crypt. The extensive menu of shots was impressive, however don't leave without trying the garlic chilli shot!! Lots of fun and very friendly staff.

I was looking forward to this place and was deeply disappointed. It was deadly quiet, dirty and the staff were not the nicest people, very unhelpful. We did not experience the food so I could not comment there, but is not a place for a drink. The bar is in the cellar which is dark and damp so we went... More

We love this place, it's so different to a lot of the other restaurants London has to offer. It does have a very gritty, dirty feel to the place but that's part of its charm to me. The food is always fantastic and the staff always pleasant. Yes, there is garlic in EVERYTHING, even coffee and beer! Not to everyone's... More

I've just read the reviews from some of some of the 'disappointed' reviewers and I can only say that they don't come any where near to my experience. I like this place. I have been coming here for just over 20 years and it has always been a great evening. The garlic beer may not be to everyone's taste, but... More

This place was suggested to us by a friend so we decided to go well there was nothing special. Drink are cheap compared to london prices but the menu didn't really attract us much. Suggestion to management please keep the so called beer clean

I love garlic but even I had to draw the limit to the beer. I thought that by ordering a beer it would be delicately flavoured with garlic. Instead it came with chunks of chopped raw garlic in....not pleasant at all. Perhaps if the beer were infused with garlic or flavoured delicately with garlic flowers then this would be a... More

We came here because on a Friday payday in Soho everywhere else was packed with people. We should have questioned why this place was completely empty but were just desperate for a drink. The plastic menus were grubby and the food seemed very over priced for what it was so we decided we would just have a drink and then... More

I stumbled upon this place while walking around Soho for a while. I liked what seemed to be a more relaxed less posey-chic atmosphere than the rest of the area, so I went inside. I tried the garlic bread and the Tony Montana shot. The bread was average, that particular shot was pretty good. The service was slow, but I... More

Stumbled upon this place on Friday night with a friend, went to the bar downstairs and the service we received was absolutely terrible, we didn't even finish our drinks, we just left. The young girl behind the bar was rude, it seemed by ordering a drink and asking a question we were putting her out and causing her a grave... More
