Fantastic/Fantástico

Amazing place for garlic lovers and, in mu case, Sweden lovers. You can also drink a nice cold beer listening to some good hard rock. A little pricey, but worth! Ótimo local para qm gosta de alho e, como eu, da Suécia. Vc tb pode beber uma cerveja gelada ouvindo um ótimo hard rock. Um pouco caro... read more

Used to go here a number of years ago and wanted to visit again for old time's sake. Wish I hadn't. Disgusting toilets, terrible, unfriendly staff with major attitude problems. On the upside, the food and shots were garlicky and good. But everything else brings it down. No atmosphere, seriously disappointing. Don't bother.

Its basically heaven for garlic lovers. Always wanted to go here. Only popped in for a quick shot but that had definitely left enough garlic running through my veins! Not the fanciest looking place but would go back to try the food.

Afer reading garlic and shots menu I thought...wow my sister and I would love this! Well....we was wrong! The staff and their friends seem to congregate behind and at the side of tye bar and just stare at us..this made us feel extremely intimidated. When the waitress finally came over.. We ordered 6shots with garlic and every single one was... More

This is my first review I have ever written, my experience here was so bad I had to write something. I went there yesterday with a friend who recommend the place. The place was filthy, it smelt like a gents toilet after a busy night. Menus are laminated and with greasy finger prints of previous customers, which made me feel... More

Have visited Garlic and Shots many times, but I may not return and shan't recommend it to friends any more. Ordered a brandy at the bar downstairs to be told by a female member of staff in a very sarcastic, matter of fact tone: "We're not posh".. The grimiest, most common spit and sawdust pubs in the country serve Brandy,... More

First - my food was great. The garlic bread was very tasty as was my lamb in garlic and it was cooked medium rare to my liking. The friendly bar staff were able to recommend an appropriate wine for me too. Secondly, this is a very dark, dingy place. Half expected a load of bikers to turn up. The toilet... More

This place is a travesty, in an area of London where there is stiff competition and so many good places it is a miracle this place is open. On arriving I was ignored for a few minutes as the staff were to busy chatting amongst themselves, then I used the facilities which were utterly foul. I ordered a beer, but... More

Starting off the evening in a bar, we got to the stage where our stomachs started to rumble. Walking around we spied this restaurant in Frith Street. My friend recommended it highly as she had been there before. We started off with the chilli tomato garlic shots, and ended up with two more rounds of the same as we loved... More

I don't like beer, but I love the garlic beer served at this place. Sounds unique? Well, unique is the key to this whole place, as everything contains garlic and you can always ask for more, but not less. If you are keen on trying the famous Swedish Meatballs, then get a load of these. Two massive, pure meat, garlic... More

Neighborhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
