Good falafel!

A very small place for a quick meal or take away. The waitress is very busy and not very kind but hummus and falafel are very tasty. A good place to stop walking downtown with reasonable prices.

The falafel is OK as a take-away but I'd be disappointed to pay for it as an eat-in meal. The falafel themselves are a bit dry and the salad was a bit on the non-existent side. The humus, tahini and curry sauce were all good.

It's in a great location, has a long history and the walls are covered in loads of old theatre posters and reviews which reflect the fact that it's been popular for years, but it was hugely disappointing. We were expecting either good food at reasonable prices or simple food at rock-bottom prices, but instead we had very simple food at... More

Gaby bought falafel to London , thirty years ago , he should make a new batch !! So dry, salad with it was 70% red cabbage . No taste except for good chilli sauce . Good atmosphere but dreadful meal , I will not return .

We have visited Gaby's Deli each time we have visited London. We were so delighted to find it still operating in 2015 exactly as we first found it in 2003. It is so unique in a world which has been overrun with franchise eateries. The food is delicious ,the service is quick and prices are so cheap compared with anything... More

Nothing more than your casual deli, but food seems to be prepared with care and attention. Love the friendly service and down to earth setting. Will be back next time in the area.

I visit this place almost everytime I am in the area. Delightful Flafel in Pitta bread is my Favourite. Serve this with a chilli sauce which has a really nice flavour.

An institution well worth visiting and hope it stays there. The salt beef sandwich is the best around! And there is loads of other great Mediterranean choices.

Came across this little cafe by chance and we weren't disappointed. I ordered the salt beef but they had unfortunately run out so I ordered the veg fritter & my partner had the falafel. We were looking for a snack but was came out was huge. The fritter was in a pita bread with all the trimmings and also sides... More

I like salt beef. London had little better to offer, but, sadly, nowadays, few restaurants do. This one does, but it is not outstanding, just quite nice. C'est la vie.
