We popped in having read the review in Harden's guide. It lived up to and exceeded expectations. We loved the white tablecloths and napkins and proper old fashioned service. We chose from the set menu which was excellent value and had a superb lunch. We would highly recommend you seek out this little Italian. We had passed it many times... More

The service was welcoming and efficient, nothing was too much trouble. The staff were attentive without being intrusive. The food was all good to excellent, the only dish that was not perfect was the squid which was borderline chewy. The wine suggestions were really good and an great match for the food. There is no background noise and even in... More

Our daughter (who now lives in London) had a craving for authentic Italian food (she grew up in Italy)--on our visit with her, we decided to check out this raved-about restaurant...and received delicious food there...she opted for the set 2 course menu and enjoyed both courses..my husband and I chose to order each course separately and were very pleased with... Visited this beautiful lillte place on spec after reading a review of the hotel we were staying at which reccomended it. We were in London on a girlie week end so wanted something not part of a chain or uber trendy. Enoteca was exactly what we were looking for. Carpaccio of beef With the tenderest cubed jerusalem artichokes was meltingly... More

We hadn't booked and went in on spec at 7.30 and were treated royally. OK, it's an easy thing -- or so people think -- to be treated properly as welcome clients by restaurant staff. But at the Enoteca they seemed to mean it. If they didn't, then they're very good actors, which comes to the same in the end,... More

Had lunch and dinner here on different days recently. Food is very good and wine list is fine but not too complicated. Staff usually very forthcoming when asked to give recommendation on both wines and food. Portions are European size rather than American. Did not see a fat diner in the 2 days we were there.

Great and genuine italian food, with a sophisticated twist and very professional, attentive and bilingual staff. I had the rabbit with polenta and a mild garlic sauce as a main course but first I tried the topinambour crispy chips with a slow cooked egg. Both were really good, mainly the rabbit which I find sometimes very diffilcult to find it... More

Thoroughly enjoyed meal with my 2 young daughters here during a 1/2 term holiday in London. No bog standard pizza/ pasta place this , I had a lovely risotto , the 2 desserts we had were outstanding a lovely chocolate concoction in particular. Friendly service in a small intimate room . Extensive wine list from Italy , of course. We... More

My husband and I don't usually go to Italian restaurants because we think it is easier to cook at home vs other type of cuisine. However, Our friends highly recommend it, they said that it was the best Italian food they had even after coming back from their honeymoon in Italy. She convinced us and we went there a group...
