Great inventive food

Second visit to this innovative Indian restaurant in Westminster. As before, I thought the food was an outstanding combination of Indian cooking and ingredients such as steak, lamb and fish that we are used to seeing in a more traditional way. Had a drink in the bar first which was a bit lacking... read more

Great, great restaurant. The food is all extremely good- inventive takes on classic Indian dishes, and everything we tasted was fantastic. The bar was great too- it has a great atmosphere and lots of interesting cocktails to try, or just their house brand Scotch. Highly recommend- it is definitely worth the price.

Definitely the best Indian food I've ever eaten in the UK, but so it should be at the price. We were a walk-in party of three at 7pm on a Saturday evening, very, very casually dressed and I half expected expected to be laughed out of town when I walked up to the restaurant booking desk. But no, we weren't... More

Dear Strudwick We were only to happy to accommodate your table on what was another very busy evening for us with hardly a table spare in the house. It was a pleasure meeting you. Fantastic you enjoyed the food and our warm and impeccable service. We look forward very much to meeting you again when you are next in town!... More

We enjoyed our lunch at the Cinnamon club but although it was tasty, fresh and nicely presented we didn't think the meal was outstanding. We preferred the food at Cinnamon Soho (one of their other branches). The restaurant is comfortable to sit and the staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. Note that the restaurant will be closed from the 19th... More

Thank you for your feedback and it is good to hear that you thought our staff were friendly attentive and helpful, and the dining room comfortable. Its great to hear you enjoyed our smaller much more intimate restaurant Cinnamon Soho very much and we welcome all of our diners to sample all three of our restaurants in the group. Each... More

Cinnamon Club is not what I expected.....it was much better. Housed in a former public library, the atmosphere is old English leather ....leather chairs in the bar, leather bound books the walls. The bar is cozy with the atmospher of a gentleman's club. The decor is not cliché Indian and neither is the menu. All the wonderfully complex spices and... More

Looking at the previous reviews, I think that guests might have the wrong idea. This is not a typical 'Indian Restaurant'. What it does provide is a menu with some quite delightful balanced flavours that we loved. My wife raved about the lobster with mustard and coconut sauce and we both thought the crusted salmon was delightful. Not cheap but... More

My husband and I ate for the first time at Cinnamon Club on Saturday evening. I am perplexed at the negative reviews written by others diners. We always do our due diligence before booking such a venue and to be honest we found nothing to complain about. It is not a curry house as some reviewers seem to have expected!... More

It has been 10 years since I last ate at the Cinnamon Club. Perhaps the memory of that last visit was idyllic but I thought that now the food, although good was neither exciting nor fully satisfying. Staying in Westminster

Neighborhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
