There are still some books as a decorative feature in this former Westminster library. The atmosphere is agreeable, and the menu as Indian as you choose. The quality of the food is high and the service is pleasant and good. I was there as part of a large group and as we were there from before 8pm until after 11pm... More

Food was Nice but nothing amazing. The decor, service and feel of the restaurant was all a little tired. In need for a refurb me thinks.

Took a work colleague here for lunch and it was absolutely superb. The set lunch menu is excellent value and you can't fault the food. Both the Indian stew and the venison were delicious followed by desserts. Portions aren't too big so you feel full but not stuffed. Staff attentive and we were seated, served and settled the bill in... More

We enjoyed the food overall but felt the chicken starter was a very small portion as was the deer and lamb for the main course and we needed sides and breads to fill up on. The prawn main course was yummy though. However the room itself was very noisy , difficult to have a conversation and also very draughty and... More

I'd heard that the CC was well worth a visit and had reasonably high expectations as such. My first visit happened to be as part of a large group for breakfast. I know groups can be challenging but there were few others in the club at the same time and so with an advanced booking they should have been able... More

Went here for a Friday night dinner and were not disappointed. We chose the tasting menu with premier wines at £115 each, nine courses, six of which came with excellent, well paired wines. The food was incredible especially the Anjou pigeon and the red deer. The only slightly disappointing dish was the halibut which both of us felt was over... More

I visited this restaurant last December and had a disappointing meal but was encouraged by the management to try them again which I did last night. We had an excellent dinner with outstanding food, service and wines so my faith has been 100% restored. Thank you for persuading me to come back.

Our meal would have been lovely if it wasn't for two things that let it down... Firstly the wine list. Overpriced and pretentious! They may well have wine connoisseurs dining there... But to scour the wine list (about 20 pages of reds alone) to find a wine under £40 is simply ridiculous. We asked our waiter if he could recommend... More

Staying in Westminster

Neighborhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
