Challenging the notion that Indian cuisine can only be created using age-old recipes and ideas, The Cinnamon Club demonstrates how evolution and adaptation can create a new chapter in gourmet excellence. Housed in the Grade II listed former Westminster Library, a stone’s throw from London’s Westminster Abbey, The Cinnamon Club’s neo-colonial feel fits perfectly with its distinctive style of Indian haute cuisine.

WONDERFUL TREAT

I didn't know what to expect, I have never been a big fan of spices but now I am a convert! the explosion of flavours in some of the dishes was just unbelievable. I want to go back!

I have been to the Cinnamon Club a few times in the attractive setting of Old Westminster Library and had another very enjoyable lunch. I had trout and my guest had shepherds pie. Both were delicious and well cooked with interesting flavours. The sorbet to follow was also delicious. We did not have any wine. Service was friendly but slightly... More

I have heard so much about this restaurant so my expectations have been quite high. The library gives a very nice and high class touch however that does not carry through to the furniture. We were being sat at a table by the wall and where I sat the bench was old and just uncomfortable. I have had to sit... More

I've been to the Cinnamon Club a few times now - definitely a special treat restaurant. I think describing it as an Indian restaurant is perhaps not quite accurate - it's a fine dining restaurant with a British Raj twist. On all three visits the menu has been different but consistently excellent. Lots of vegetarian options as well, and they... More

Very disappointing food and service: starters were ok, but were only memorable for the fact they were served less than 10 minutes after ordering....this overly swift service carried on for the main course and we had our plates cleared after the two courses just 35 minutes after we had sat down. Food was poor, and was slightly peculiar in that... More

This is an Indian restaurant like no other. Set in the discrete, former Old Westminster Library, the restaurant offers a very peaceful and sophisticated place to dine and is perfect for business lunches. The food is full of flavour and stunningly presented. Not your typical Indian restaurant menu either. For example, they offer dishes such as the Grilled Norwegian King... More

An absolutely wonderful evening...the food was delectable, a taste bud heaven, but the service really makes the place and sets the tone and in this instance, it was seamless. Everyone we encountered was charming, knowledgeable, warm, helpful and friendly without being intrusive. The mood was light without sacrificing the excellence you are renowned for. We were very impressed by how... More

We were here a few years ago, and always wanted to come back. I was a bit disappointed at first to see that the dish I had before was no longer available, but the alternatives were just actually just as flavoursome. Staying in Westminster

Neighborhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
