Dear me, I think that you should expect some sort of standards when you go out to eat particularly when the place boasts a Michelin star. So the tables – small, about 30cms away from another table. Décor – blah and needs updating Food – below par. Was expecting exquisite bursts of flavour with each mouthful. How wrong was I,... More

The set menu is real nice and they also allowed the two older people in our group pick two starter as they don't eat as much as us. All four of us left empty plates on every course. The wine was lovely and I ended on the massive cheese board, it was Even better than the time we came in... More

I had been looking forward to visiting Chez Bruce for some time and the food was good, the cod starter and Anjou pigeon were highlights. We were seated downstairs in the middle of the room which proved to be a thoroughfare. The waiting staff were pleasant however we were served by at least five different people, excluding the sommelier which... More

Simply superb. The food, the ambience, the staff, the service, the drinks were all exceptional. They always are but then when you visit the restaurant again you are reminded of just how good it is. A limited but very good vegetarian selection. We will be back!

We were treated to lunch here to celebrate my husband's birthday by a generous friend who knows his restaurants and had the most wonderful experience. Chez Bruce manages to combine a laid back vibe with the most delicious food. It's interesting cooking without being too cheffy. The cod with wild mushrooms and truffle mash was brilliant; two of us had... More

At this stage, do we really need to talk about Chez Bruce food? Not really. He has demostrated during many years that he is one of the best restaurants in London and extremely professional as I could see during my visits to his restaurant in the past. But this time I want to talk about my experience yesterday as I... More

Love this place! Excellent food friendly staff and great chilled out atmosphere! The prices are really good and the wine list is brilliant! Always lots of choice for all budgets! I had a beef salad to start off and the meet was so tender followed by pork themed main and polished off with a lovely rhubarb desert. They even picked... More

Recently visited Chez Bruce with my partner, whom has wanted to come for a long time now. Our two experiences were slightly different, but overall we agreed on a lot. There is a friendly welcome and service is attentive without being in your face or too much as you would expect from a restaurant with a rating of this calibre.... More
