We had a great time - they looked after us very well - six of us one with a peanut allergy - all handled very well - £507 with three bottles of wine inc service- it's not every day but at just over £80 a head it's what you'd expect

I last went to Chez Bruce 5 years ago, and bar the company (an unfortunate family indicent...) it was a fantastic experience, and this time around it was if anything better. From the moment you enter you're at the whim of the professional, polished but friendly service, un-snobby advise on menu and wine, and general fantastic ambiance. Then the food....the... More

Michelin starred restaurants often give the impression of being rather precious and pretentious, but not Chez Bruce. Excellent understated service coupled with wonderfully cooked and thought out dishes makes for a memorable evening. Sensibly priced for London and a wine list that covers all pockets means that having enjoyed a brilliant experience you are not left feeling fleeced at the... More

Hands down some of the tastiest food around. Came here on my third visit on a Friday lunchtime. Honestly so surprised at the value for money for a lunchtime sitting. Arrived, service was very pleasant and helpful. Ordered probably the best Rioja I've ever tasted by recommendation by the sommelier. Love the selection of bread and Parmesan biscuits to start... Went to Chez Bruce on Friday 29th January for lunch with two friends and was totally wowed by the whole experience. The service was effortlessly professional but superbly understated and added to the whole experience. It almost goes without saying that the food was close to perfection and seems to get better with each visit. On this occasion the combination... More

This restaurant visit came about because I was talking to an old friend who reminded me that we had dined well here a long time (10 years!) ago, and I decided to pay it another visit - and I am glad I did. The downstairs dining room is modern in style, but pleasant and functional - perhaps my only complaint... More

I have been to Chez Bruce many times and count it amongst my favourite restaurants. The atmosphere is fantastic and relaxed at the same time and the staff very attentive. But I have to confess to being disappointed at both of my last two visits on the food front - I always used to come away thinking that I had... More

We went for Sunday lunch with high expectations given that we have eaten at sister restaurants The Glasshouse in Kew and La Trompette in Chiswick. We were not disappointed. Everything was perfect from our seasonal aperitifs right through to our espressos at the end. Service was also very good, not rushed but attentive. The restaurant is spacious and light. The... More

As good as ever. A fantastic Venue and a fantastic dinner. The menu is brilliant with adventurous food and dishes presented brilliantly and with a superb service. Great wine selection, this is a restaurant where you can't go wrong. Romantic setting, a great choice for couples.
