Superb

We have been enjoying going to Chez Bruce for some sixteen years. OK, not every week or month but a few times a year for special occasions. On each and every visit the whole time has felt like being in your own very pleasant dining room with friends! As if and I wish I could cook to that very... read more

Food was good, but not exceptional. All the ingredients were fresh and tasty, but nothing really stood out as that creative or special on the plate. We had a variety of waiting staff - all individually good, but just too many of them. If this was simplified I think it would make the whole experience much better (whats wrong with... More

We have been to La Trompette in Chiswick, the Glasshouse in Kew and finally went to Chez Bruce in Wandsworth today. The sister restaurants to Chez Bruce were absolutely superb so we were excited to go to the flagship in Wandsworth and anticipated some really great food. Sadly it could not have been more disappointing. The menu was uninspiring; my... More

After being given a gift voucher to eat here, I was thinking we'd have to give it away to someone, as with a 6 month old baby I couldn't imagine dining in a fancy restaurant like this without getting a babysitter. However after looking on the website and speaking to the hostess we decided to go to ab early Sunday... More

Chez Bruce at lunchtime was very nice, we had a comfortable round table for 6 of us and we were very well looked after. The food was very nice, it didn't blow me away but was good, apart from my crème brulee which I haven't tasted such a delicious one since I had one in Paris quite a few years... More

I went here for dinner a few weeks ago with my family and it was the best food I've ever had in the UK. It is expensive but worth every penny. The atmosphere was brilliant and the staff really friendly, I will definitely be back!

Service was not good. Waiters constantly interrupting the conversation rather than waiting for us to finish talking before inserting themselves. Good waiter should serve without being noticed, at Chez Bruce they want to be your friends and the centre of attention. This isnt a diner....treat the customers like it is. The management also are now allowing children to sleep in... More

The food is exceptional. The service is befitting its status as a Michelin star restaurant too. I was blown away by the mackerel starter - the tastes are so well matched & considered. I had the roast veal for a main course - the various purees & sauces which came with it were wonderful & gave a unique dining experience.... More

I took my hubby to Chez Bruce we had often driven past and said we must go there. I wish we had done so before it was fantastic probably one of the best meals I have had in London if not the best. They catered for my fish and shellfish allergies with no problem and the Sommelier defiantly knew his... More
