I come here for my birthday every year because it's the best. If you asked me if French food was my favourite I would say no. If you asked me if I enjoy mixing with investment bankers I would say no. If you asked me is this the best and most reasonable restaurant in London I would say yes. It's... More

A lovely meal in lovely surroundings, disappointed at the cafe style wooden chairs not at all in keeping with the the beautiful soft and calm restaurant. The staff were without being over enthusiastic, friendly and very efficient even bringing a recipe card of the Parmesan biscuits because I enthused about them. Not fair to ask is this the best meal... More

Totally overdue but wanted to give these guys a big thumbs up. We went for Sunday lunch with my sister in law and were running very late. The staff got her a newspaper and were fine with our tardiness. The food was fantastic and the value for money of their Sunday lunch menu is really very good as you would... More

Had heard nothing but good things about Chez Bruce from friends so was excited to finally visit for my boyfriend's birthday. I'm lucky enough to have been to a fair few of the top restaurants in central London through work, and I would say the food here is as good! All the food was beautifully presented and I especially enjoyed... More

This is a very good restaurant. Four of us ate twelve different plates of food and did not leave a morsel. The foie gras was delicate yet plentiful, the veal soft, pink and tasty, although perhaps came with a superfluous meatball. The dessert was a solid chocolate pudding. Being perhaps slightly harsh, it was all a bit safe. Everything on... More

A lovely meal at a reasonable price (we went for weekday lunch). A relaxed (not at all pretentious) atmosphere, suitable for us average joes wanting some luxury on a special occasion! Plenty of delicious food with some surprising flavour combinations working really well!

The oxtail pappardelle was devine, rich and tasty. The loin of pork with sauerkrat and sausage - an unusual sight on a menu in England - was similarly flavourful and of course well presented. The desserts - coconut rice pudding and the chocolate pudding - were a lovely way to end the meal, topped off with a freebie apple and... More

Chez Bruce is outstanding value when you consider the quality of the food and the professional but not overbearing service. The Foie Gras starter that a friend had was as good as he has eaten anywhere and the best he has had in London. My own cod and mussel starter was excellent and the pigeon main was outstanding. The staff... More
