I have been eating in London for years and tried most of the highest rated restaurants, but this little place on old Brampton road was the stand out winner for excellent service and amazingly different flavours and textures. Try things like the tomatoes roasted for 8 hours in oloroso sherry and garnished with goat cheese and "basil caviar" ( believe... More

Had a birthday dinner for 13 people. Told the staff to order the best of what they had and take care of the menu. The fish sole was bland and some sort of roast tomato speciality was equally dull. Staff were very nice but I'm sorry the food was a massive fail to all of us.

We have been going here for about 10 years and are normally quite happy with the food and atmosphere. The only reason we would not have gone here more is the table booking policy of 7pm or 9.30pm slots - these are fair enough with central London ground rents and rates to cover. However recently it has been far too... More

having booked dinner on 5th Jan we arrived to find the place closed with no indication why. There was no future opening date. The implication is that the closure is permanent.

Invited as a guest for a business lunch; a yearly occurance at Christmas. Every year the food has been exceptional. The staff and the service are excellent and the the restaurant has a fabulous atmosphere and interesting decor. Would definitely recommend; top class in every category.

I have come here since 2007. Every time the food is authentic and full of flavour. Best Spanish in town.

We picked this amazing Tapas place from a thousand others in London and were absolutely delighted by the quality of service and amazing food. We were expertly guided our waiter Joaquin, who recommended the most amazing dishes on the menu... and nothing disappointed! The baby lamb cutlets were a particular favourite as well as the calamari and the tomato and... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
