A quiet place to stop for lunch, good for conversation and a little peace in the bustle of South Kensington. The menu is pricey and unusual, and very interesting. Roasted turbot, a side of Galician Padron peppers, washed down with a glass of delicious white, dry Albarino Spanish wine, followed by delicious coffee. I am not sure how much business... More

The food here was really delicious but it is quite pricey. I would recommend for a special occasion. As with most tapas it is good to be in a group of at least 4 to b able to taste enough different dishes.

I was extremely disappointed with the service! The waitress who served us was rushing the service far too often and would take our things away without asking......even before we had finished them! We also tried to use an OpenTable dining cheque but the manager kindly told us they did not accept OT cheques although this was not specified when I... More

Food was ok but service is what makes me take another star away ..I give two for the ambience. The owner seemed very warm but the waiting staff seem to lack that genuine care thats needed to believe all the inconsistent information they give you about the food. We got a dish we did not order - the waiter seemed... More

We love this place. Tasty food and best Spanish wine list ever! Their croquettes are amazing and the OX tail is delicious.

An almost mind blowing array of quality dishes, intriguing flavours and wonderful atmosphere make CDT one of the best Spanish restaurants in London (and dare I say, Europe). The emphasis on intricate, modern and inspiring new flavours with tradition is none more apparent than the Tapas menu. I've been to most of the Spanish restaurants in London and this is... More

We were looking for a simple meal, a few tapas and a bottle of wine. In theory, this place would be perfect, but in practice we found the food lacking in taste, and quite greasy. The atmosphere is OK. If you are just drinking and need something to fill your stomach, it may do, but otherwise I would not really... More

Really enjoyed our Dinner here on a Thursday evening. The meals were creative and excellent tasting. The service was attentive if not a bit rushed. We were informed that there were 2 seatings that evening and I will say that I felt the 'push' with the pace in which each meal was brought. The wine list is extensive though quite... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
