A great view of Tower Bridge on a beautiful summer evening. Arrived early so got an outdoor table. Over-priced and mediocre food. Seared scallops (2 very small) had barely been shown a flame. I had the smallest whole plaice I have ever seen. 3 of our party had the roast beef and were not impressed - hard roast potatoes, dry... More

The food was excellent. Went for fish dishes which were first class. Excellent Service with staff who went out of their way to help you. Superb views of Tower Bridge and the river.

We recently went to Butlers Wharf Chop House for a Sunday lunch. Our Sunday lunch was excellent. Portions were large and tasty and it was a struggle to manage even 2 courses. I opted for the cheese as a dessert which came with a delicious fruit cake, crackers and grapes. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff( thanks to... More

I had the lucky chance to go to London again (I live in Milano, Italy) and immediately decided to book a table at this restaurant, sure that I would be spending a few hours of relax after a hard day. The evening overcame my expectations, both in terms of service (thanks -again!! - to Federica, to Alfonso who I met... More

We enjoyed the fantastic riverside location of this restaurant, and were lucky enough to get a table outside. Our meal unfortunately was very average and the menu for a hot day most unimaginative. My husband's steak was underdone although he had asked for medium cooked and my sole was mushy and the worst I've ever tasted or had prepared! All... More

I organised a corporate event for 45 people at the restaurant, we had an exclusive hire of the bar area. We pre-ordered some canapes and bowl food. I can honesty say they were best canapes I have ever had! The service was fantastic. The ladies that served us: Alessandra and Gerda, were lovely, friendly and very attentive. The barmaid Nela... Dinner on a Friday night at 7 pm. It never got crowded - which tells you something. We had the set menu; mine was fish fritters, followed by sea bass, and an ice cream dessert. The food was good but certainly not great, and not worth the price. The service was horrible. We were there for 90 long minutes -... More

We had a lovely, relaxing dinner at the Chop House. Refreshing gin & tonics to start, followed by a delicious chilled heirloom tomato soup. Liberata, the sommelier, was most delightful and helpful in selecting wines to accompany our steaks. First was a right bank Bordeaux which was tasty. She then helped us select a left bank Bordeaux which was fantastic.... More

Love this area of London so thought we'd try a meal here for my husbands' birthday. We had 4pm table booked, the last seating for lunch. We were greeted well and the table was lovely. Main complaint was the service. Slow and apologetic but a little annoying. I felt we were between shifts which is fine but not when you're... More
