Description: A local landmark on The Boulevard, the Blue Elephant Thai restaurant brings an authentic Royal Thai dining experience to bustling West London. Considered one of the finest Thai restaurants in London, the Blue Elephant serves delicious traditional dishes prepared with ingredients flown in from Thailand on a weekly basis, served up amidst tropical foliage and lush water gardens. Your meal will be presented to you by the friendly, attentive staff in national Thai costume, who will also occasionally entertain diners with traditional Thai dancing displays. A popular spot for couples, who cosy up under the thatched pergolas, the Blue Elephant is renowned for its refined cuisine, which also includes a wide range of vegetarian dishes, an extensive wine list and a Sunday brunch with children's entertainment. Ideal for relaxing with a classic cocktail, the opulent Blue Bar is highlighted by a replica of the Suphannahong - the Royal Barge of Thailand.

Amazing. Went with work colleagues to celebrate 25 years with the company. We chose the tasting menu. Not disappointed at all. Beautifully presented. Great wine we had cloudy bar simply perfect. Very friendly staff great surroundings. Food exceeded my expectations. Would highly recommend it. One dish in particular I would highly recommend was the lamb, tender fell off the bone... More

I had a meal there whilst visiting the Jazz Festival. The meal was nice but not enough. The portions were to small for the money paid. Nice place, beautiful setting by the river.

The food here is wonderful, with a good variety to choose from. And the service is fantastic too, they are very helpful and great at suggesting new dishes to try. Cost wise, it is very reasonable, and with it being such a small restaurant, you get a fabulous, homely experience.

Our great expectations weren't fullfilled. The food was just average Thai / Chinese food. We ate better Thai on much less expensive restaurants. We had the tasting menu and some very good expensive wine. Our waitress had never opened a bottle of wine - she told us - and you could tell obviously...so please Blue Elephant train your people accordingly... More

We visited Blue Elephant for their Sunday Brunch. Sitting on the porch by the river Thames and with the weather to compliment the food, the setting was just perfect. Our brunch was served on the first floor. The entire dining space is divided into three rooms, with the first comprising appetizers and a live counter for fried noodles, the second... More

Ordered a few take away dishes to sample this new restaurant. The Pad Thai and Thai green curry are very tasty but the take away portions are far too small, borderline laughable! Thai food always comes in smaller portions but this was just not sufficient enough. The staff were really nice and offered advice on some new dishes to try.... More

This restaurant is perfectly located on the river. Easy complimentary parking too. The banqueting set menus are super if you can't decide from all the wonderful Thai dishes on offer. Exceptional surroundings and wonderful staff. Definitely believe the hype! I will be dining here more frequently. A must do for any Thai food lover. The wines list is most excellent... More

Thai is my favourite cuisine, this is a posh one. We went for the brunch which was lovely, unlimited and there was too much choice if anything (which isn't a bad thing) but it was impossible to sample everything. A lot of the food is cooked and prepared infront of you which I loved. Really lovely food.

We went several years ago when it was at it's Fulham location and was rather impressed. But when we ventured here last week it was rather disappointing! After arriving at Imperial Wharf which isn't particularly easy to get to, we were greeted with a bleak unwelcoming exterior which wasn't like the magic we remembered in Fulham (Bridges, Streams, Fish, Exotic... Another visit to this great Thai restaurant. Greeted with the usual warm welcome from the owner Vilma. We just cannot fault anything with the service, food and atmosphere. Standards have not slipped and have probably improved if that was possible! Wine prices are very reasonable and it is not the usual wallet breaker to go for the Moet which works... More
