Thought we would stop off on our way home from the City as I remembered eating here in the past and it being very good. Yet again, incredible food, very pleasant service and reasonably price. I wish Brighton had something like this!

We fancied a quick and easy family Sunday dinner with a bit of spice for Father's Day, and decided it was time to pay another visit to Mirch - we've had some take-aways and eaten at the tooting branch, but it has been a while since we sat in at Norbury (the original, and best in my opinion.) Bought some... More

Near to Norbury rail station. Lunchtime buffet is worth deviating from your route to find. Portions are generous and of high standard. Parking is very limited in the area

I popped in on Sunday evening with my wife for a quick bite. We have been many times before and love it. I went to he original one here over 20 years ago. It comes highly rated b many Indian and Pakistani friends. Try the Onion Bhajia's. They are the best, not rolled into tight balls, but loose, crispy and... More

Frequently eat in this restaurant and order take aways. Good value and service generally very good. I would recommend the prawn rolls and cheese/pea curry!

Food was salty, cheap, and obviously banged together to maximise profit at the expense of taste. I've eaten across London restaurants ranging from inexpensive takeaways to quality restaurants. This has to be the worst tasting food I've ever had and they charge premium prices. The sad thing is it was supposed to be a treat for my parents after a... More

Went last night for a evening meal with 2 of my girlfriends. The decor is plain and simple no fancy stuff, started off nice and quiet then by the time we left it was really busy with lots of eat in diners and a queue for the take-away service, seems very popular locally, Our food was pretty decent as you know... Awesome starters and the main is lovely and tasty. This is my best place for a curry. I recommend this restaurant to many people. Always good feedback.

It's a frustrating drive from Brighton to London negotiating interminable speed cameras and traffic lights and by the time you get to Norbury you deserve a treat. I've never been to India but this feels more authentically Indian than those flock wallpaper and onion-shaped doorway establishments. The service is brisk and friendly and an amuse-gueule of salad and sauces appears... More

This is a wonderful place to have a curry. OK, it is pretty hectic, but that just adds to the atmosphere. The food is fantastic, there is a great choice of dishes and it is very reasonably priced. They do not have a bar so you have to bring your own alcohol, if you forget there are plenty of shops nearby.
