We found this place on our last visit and were keen to go back. We booked, but on a Wednesday evening just after easter they were very quiet. Not to worry the food was amazing! The pasta was straight from Italy. ...lovely seabass but oh that icrcrram and sorbet! I have only ever had icecream like that when in Italy.... More

We stay in the Cavendish Hotel in Jermyn Street on many occasions. We did not know that the Al Duca is just round the corner. We visited this restaurant for the first time on 18th March, boy, what a wonderful surprise ! Food, service and ambience all fantastic. We are looking forward to our return. Jeff Stewart

Ate here on Friday night after going to the Theatre. I had booked a table for 10.15 p.m on line and was pleasantly surprised to get a phone call during the day to confirm our reservation. We were met politely at the door and shown to a window table. We decided on 3 courses and a bottle of Pinot Noir.... More

Good choice of menu, and reasonable prices for London. Food was great, very tasty. They even managed to make the green beans taste good! Staff were great, taking our coats at the door, very attentive. Booking was easy and they even emailed AND called to confirm. Very impressed.

Really enjoyed an impromptu dinner (booked very last minute) with business colleagues. Service was attentive and prompt without being rushed. Interior is calm and tasteful. I had the most delicious fresh home made pasta with black truffle that I have ever had...I have been craving it ever since! Will definitely be back if I am in the area and can... More

Let's start with the foodie basics: Al Duca is secretly hidden in the best part of Piccadilly. The interior is cosy, the lighting just perfect, everything, including the waiting staff, is balanced not to intrude and to stress the fact that the customer has to enjoy the little details.. without a fuss! At Dinner, the ambiance was buzzing, the a'... More

We visited Al Duca about 3 weeks ago, but It was such a strange evening that I couldn't really get my head around it. This was our second visit. The first time was somewhere during our early married days, before kids, so about 15 years ago. We remembered it as being special. This time, it was an after-theatre birthday dinner... More

After some Saturday shopping on Bond Street and Jermyn Street, we decided to try Al Duca on the spur of the moment, hoping for an authentic italian experience. Al Duca didn't disappoint, we were speaking Italian when we entered and were greeted warmly by the Venetian and Sardinian staff. The atmosphere was relaxed, the restaurant is clean and not overly... Staying in St. James's

Neighborhood Profile
St. James's
Perennially fashionable since the days of Henry VIII, the aristocratic “Clubland” of St James's is a premier destination for high end craft and bespoke design. Here you’ll lose count of the Royal Warrants (which indicate that the Royal Family patronizes the establishment) seen in shop front windows, even during a short stroll to bordering Green Park or St James’s Park. With the brightly lit and constantly buzzing junction of Piccadilly Circus at its northeast corner and none of Central London too far away, this is an surprisingly central and accessible part of town, especially given its prosperous demeanor.
