This place is well known in St James (I used in work nearby, and hasn't really changed). The service is decent and the room nice. However, food is a bit tasteless and dull - salad to start was very basic, not really dressed properly. Piece of fish as a main OK, but again, nothing notable - and not inexpensive either.

A pleasant, comfortable lunch. Terrific beef carpaccio to start, grilled chicken was excellent. Not too much, not too little. Excellent wine list, if a little unadventurous. Very much a business restaurant at lunchtimes, imagine it's somewhat more luxurious for dinner.

Ate here based on hotel recommendation and was not disappointed. Started with the mozzarella/tomatoes and vegetable soup(pea). Both had very good flavor. Entrees were the salmon and chicken which were also excellent. The servings were larger than we have been seeing in London. Service outstanding.

I last ate in Al Duca some 2+ years ago and remember enjoying it - but hadn't been back until today. I was in for a business lunch and found the staff courteous and friendly, and super efficient. The dishes were simple but delicious and prepared with high quality ingredients. Highly recommended for an intimate lunch or dinner.

After cocktails at the Dukes, we headed to Al Duca on their recommendation. We have found our go to Italian in london! The service was excellent, the food was some of the best we have ever had, and the price was quite fair, esp. given its high end location. We had wonderful red wine, and sea bream which I had... I had lunch at Al Duca earlier this week. It was pleasingly one of the best Italian meals that I have had for while (in a city where so much so called Italian food is worse than I could cook at home). I ate a very pleasant char grilled chicken with an equally pleasant starter. The wine was good, the... More

A reliable italian restaurant popular with local business people. They do some excellent small pasta dishes. The tuna is a very popular main course. The restaurant is smart and service good without being overly formal.

Reading the reviews on TA we decided to give it a try. The meals better then average, but never as in Italy. The service was correct, but not as friendly as one would expect. 3 courses for 2 with the bottle of wine costed 100£. All in all it was alright experience.
