Nice Italian Fayre

The atmosphere is nice and you get good standard Italian food as you would expect. The portions were a good size and the location is great for continuing the evening in a local pub or bar

Still going strong and always very busy whatever time of the year we visit London. There is a reason for this and it is that they serve excellent food and they are dedicated to excellent customer service.

The food is bland and takes for ever to arrive. You will spend your entire evening stressing about when it is going to be served to you.

Had the misfortune of "dining" here on the August Bank Holiday Monday. I use the term loosely as my starter (minestrone soup) - which took 65 minutes and more than one reminder to the waitiing staff to arrive - was inedible, a glass of water has more taste. After waiting for the starters for 50 mins, I went to the... More

We booked as we had tesco vouchers to use. Nice to get bread straight away on arrival but wine very expensive. Pretty bland food and would not return. Looks like Ikea inside !

The Bertorelli's on Charlotte Street is nice as it is not as crowded as most of the other restaurants there. Which does not mean that the food is not good. Quite the opposite, it is very nice italian food. Although they ran out of some dish on the menu. Not only the food is nice, the ambiance, too. And the... More

Pleasant atmosphere and efficient service. The food, however, was rather average. For starters, I had mozarella and tomatoes with a bit of pesto, but for a dish reliant on the quality of the ingredients, the tomato was a bit insipid. For mains, the pancetta and scallop risotto was generous with the ingredients and had a reasonable texture, but the overall... More

I recently celebrated my 30th Birthday in London with friends from all over the UK. I found Bertorelli's on the internet and submitted my booking enquiry. I was looking for Private Dining for 24 people. From the moment I submitted my booking I had nothing but excellent responses and service from the paramount restaurants event booking team who arranged everything... More

Very nice and enjoyable restaurant, in particular if you could sit outside the restaurant overlooking busy Charlotte Street. Bertorelli have nice fish plates and delicious starters. I highly recommend to go for the daily's specials which are always recommendable. Further, service was very good. Nothing to complaint about at Bertorelli's. It goes without saying that the prices are a bit... More

Ate here as we were late into town, Charlotte street was packed and we were starving. This what we got for £60: 500mls very average pinot grigio, 2 starters: Mine was a small piece of, admittedly good, mozarella over some plum tomato halves with some dabs of pesto. My girlfriend at 8 squid rings with tartare sauce (frozen/jar). 2 Main... More
