Great place, good staff, lots going on and lots to look at. Expensive though, two bottled beers, two paninis and one desert was just under £30. Seemed a lot for a snack in a cafe?

Saw the reviews went, loved it. Its a proper coffee shop doing real espresso. The little cakes are also great just to get you going. For a bigger appetite try the chocolate cake slice.

During our recent trip to London we stopped in here twice. Once when leaving Ronnie Scott's across the road one evening when we enjoyed coffee and cakes. (And a bit of banter with one of the guys working there), and then one afternoon for a spot of Lunch. Not the cheapest place in London town, BUT authentic right down to... More

Like coffee, like Italian snacks, love the service and location. But nothing magical, it just likeable. So not really worth going out of my way for, there are better Italian places locally. Nice, but not amazing.

Bar Italia has a history.. Apart from the building being where the first TV signal was tested.. It has served coffee to theatre goers, clubbers and ordinary punters for 50 years!!. If you want authentic coffee from a classic Espresso machine AND to sit and watch the world go by.. this is the place.. if you choose your dates and... More

Quiet place for morning coffee and some pastries. Can go for a more full breakfast. Great to people watch.

Delicious latte, cappuccino, and caffe frappe plus a few tables to sit outside on a sunny day! 3,70 for a large latte isn't cheap but it was memorably scrumscious!

To me, Bar Italia has become a bit of a staple when visiting the capital. Authentic, no-nonsense and superbly made coffees and maybe even a cheeky cannoli if I feel like it! It's in a lovely area too. If the weather permits, sitting outside with a double macchiato watching the world go by is a lovely way to spend a... More
