Azou is one of the most inviting restaurants on Chiswick's King Street. Marking it out most is the high-quality North African food offering fine flavours from Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria. The menu reflects the huge variety of dishes from North Africa - from delicious salads, kemia (mezze) & pastries to couscous and tajines (meat, fish & vegetarian). Choose from classic dishes, or Azou's own, which incorporate traditional and contemporary influences. The focus is on well-sourced and freshly cooked ingredients. Azou has a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere decorated with crafts and artefacts from the Maghreb.

Delicious!

I've been a couple times this month and initially was dubious as to how different the tagines really were from eachother. They are different and all equally delicious. It's very relaxed, great for week might bites as well as more relaxed weekends. The starters are great, calamari is really fresh... read more

Service was good, Knowledgable waiter who was keen to help us make the right choice. We both had the lamb, which was huge and so hot it actually spoilt it for me. I could not eat it for about 10 minutes, so i kept picking little bits off. Its a very small restaurant so it can be difficult to enjoy... More

Small atmospheric North African restaurant within walking distance (20min) of the Hammersmith Apollo. We had an early evening meal before a performance of Billy Connolly. The menu is limited to around a dozen different mains but the food was excellent. Try the spicy lamb tagine, the mix of spices has to be tasted to be believed, the meat fell off... More

OMG amazing! Found the restaurant on Tripadvisor and am not disappointed! The restaurant is lovely, small and cosy with very friendly service. The food was fab! My husband had fish soup to start and I the Baba Ganoush and then he had the fish couscous and I the most amazing vegetable tagine, I can still taste the amazing flavours now....... More

I had dinner with my wife and two children (14 & 12) on 02 Jan, 2016. The food was cooked just right and was delicious. My son ordered lamb tajine (which had a thick & delicious gravy) and a seperate side couscous. Our only complanit is that the side couscous portion was a little on the small size for our... More

This week was my second visit to Azou in the past month or two. I wouldn't mind if my third visit were tonight because I have been a happy little vegemite both previous times. The menu breaks down more or less to tajines, special tajines, and couscous. I can't get past the lamb tajine. Indeed, I may never get past... More

I went to Azou last night for dinner and the food was fabulous like I was expecting. The service was a slight let down. The waiter continually tried to 'sell' everything on the menu. Which is fine to an extent however we felt her to be quite rude and pushy. We first asked for just plain water and she brought... More

Azou offers fantastic, if somewhat overpriced Moroccan food in a cosy, warm interior. It was also an unexpected discovery on our part - we had no idea that Mr Ramsey had christened it his favourite Moroccan restaurant in north London for 2010. Thankfully the food continues to make good claim on that title. My girlfriend's lamb tagine was beautifully cooked,... More

To this day the Lamb tajine I ordered was probably the best meal I’ve ever ordered anywhere. Thank you.

My family live in London and so we eat at Azou if we have a family celebration. Yesterday it was for my birthday. The decor is excellent and plenty of room between tables. The choice of all the courses is good with an explanation of the dishes ready available. The Tajines are always brilliant and well presented. The staff are... More
