Azou is one of the most inviting restaurants on Chiswick's King Street. Marking it out most is the high-quality North African food offering fine flavours from Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria. The menu reflects the huge variety of dishes from North Africa - from delicious salads, kemia (mezze) & pastries to couscous and tajines (meat, fish & vegetarian). Choose from classic dishes, or Azou's own, which incorporate traditional and contemporary influences. The focus is on well-sourced and freshly cooked ingredients. Azou has a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere decorated with crafts and artefacts from the Maghreb.

Excellent food

Interesting and very tasty tagines with rich sauces. Good advice on our choices from the waiter. Nice starters. Reasonably quick service. Easy to book on line, book confirmed by e-mail. 2nd time we've been here and will certainly come again.

I came here during trip to London and it was the best decision for restaurant we have made in a long time. The food was delicious (I was literally scraping my plate at the end)!!! We loved the decor; it made it a lovely atmosphere to eat in. However, the best thing about the place was the staff; I have... More

We had wanted to try this place for years, after seeing it on a TV programme with Gordon Ramsey. We eventually went for my wife's birthday. Fantastic food and fantastic service. We both had lamb tajine and all I can say is Delicious. Well worth the trip from Wimbledon to Hammersmith.

My partner has been wanting to visit here for a long time as they won several awards as the best North African restaurant in the UK. So I took the decision to book a surprise table for two as it was his birthday. The food, atmosphere & musique was really nice! The chef and owner Chris Benarab was friendly, taking... More

Remember seeing this restaurant on Ramsays best UK restaurant programme, a few years ago. As we were in the area, we decided to visit. We arrived at 5.50 on a Saturday night and took a gamble that we would get in, Lucky for us they had space, we went for both a chicken and lamb tagine plus cous cous. The... More

My husband and I a meal here. The food was amazing brilliant flavours and balanced well. We had 2 starters Falfel and some Bourek to start. We then had Constantine tajine which was tender lamb shank in a fabulous sauce and then a Tajine djej, which was tender chicken in a sauce with vegetables. The flavours were amazing in all... More

Azou, thank you! I selected Azou for a dinner for a group of 11 college students. It was our last night in London and everyone wanted something special. A number of the students had never had Moroccan food -- this turned out to be the perfect choice! Azou was so helpful and held our reservation for us even though I... More

My daughter loves Azou for it's North Africa cuisine and it was the obvious choice for her birthday. Brillient choice of food , wine and beverages. As ever the staff go above and beyond expectations, including them singing Happy Birthday as they brought in the cake. The excellent food is always consistently good. The ambience and decor just add to... More
