Description: Azou is one of the most inviting restaurants on Chiswick's King Street...
Azou is one of the most inviting restaurants on Chiswick's King Street. Marking it out most is the high-quality North African food offering fine flavours from Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria. The menu reflects the huge variety of dishes from North Africa - from delicious salads, kemia (mezze) & pastries to couscous and tajines (meat, fish & vegetarian). Choose from classic dishes, or Azou's own, which incorporate traditional and contemporary influences. The focus is on well-sourced and freshly cooked ingredients. Azou has a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere decorated with crafts and artefacts from the Maghreb.

Excellent food

Interesting and very tasty tagines with rich sauces. Good advice on our choices from the waiter. Nice starters. Reasonably quick service. Easy to book on line, book confirmed by e-mail. 2nd time we've been here and will certainly come again.

Remember seeing this restaurant on Ramsays best UK restaurant programme, a few years ago. As we were in the area, we decided to visit. We arrived at 5.50 on a Saturday night and took a gamble that we would get in, Lucky for us they had space, we went for both a chicken and lamb tagine plus cous cous. The... More

My husband and I a meal here. The food was amazing brilliant flavours and balanced well. We had 2 starters Falfel and some Bourek to start. We then had Constantine tajine which was tender lamb shank in a fabulous sauce and then a Tajine djej, which was tender chicken in a sauce with vegetables. The flavours were amazing in all... More

Azou, thank you! I selected Azou for a dinner for a group of 11 college students. It was our last night in London and everyone wanted something special. A number of the students had never had Moroccan food -- this turned out to be the perfect choice! Azou was so helpful and held our reservation for us even though I... More

My daughter loves Azou for it's North Africa cuisine and it was the obvious choice for her birthday. Brillient choice of food , wine and beverages. As ever the staff go above and beyond expectations, including them singing Happy Birthday as they brought in the cake. The excellent food is always consistently good. The ambience and decor just add to... More

Great food, great spices, great services, will visit once every few months. The food is authentic, and a fusion of several North African dishes. A little corner of Merkesh hidden in Hammersmith.

Me and my wife dined here late October 2014 (Halloween night). We wanted to have something different but also cosy and quiet away from the bustle. We found it. The food is great (as you can tell from the awards glued on the entrance door). The restaurant is like a neighbourhood restaurant, very nice. It's not big and there are... More

Have been meaning to come here a long time and now finally went for Saturday dinner. The restaurant didn't let us down. Great atmosphere with the tentlike interior and mix of low and high tables. Food was very tasty and the portions was really large. Had chicken and lamb tanjines with really tender meat. Friendly and personal service. We will... More
