Delicious and charming cozy small restaurant in SOHO

I was looking for a nice lunch in SOHO and so glad I found this place. Intimate and romantic with a small garden in the back. My smoked duck salad and seafood pasta were delicious. Friendly staff. A favorite in London. Will definitely be back!

This place is always fun. The staff are eccentric and entertaining and make everyone feel welcome. The food is fine for the price and location (ie Central London).

This restaurant is really charming and one of the most romantic ones I've been too! The food was good enough and reasonably priced but it was the ambience that made it a nice evening.

Was there for a birthday dinner this weekend... the food was very average... the wine was good... the downstairs' private room was not so nice but the garden and upstairs really cute and atmospheric.

Having visited London many times and wandered the streets wondering where to eat I have finally found the one !!! Luckily for me I was directed and taken to it by family. It's simply a lovely place to eat; the food is excellent, the service is great, personable and fun!! Unusually I had three courses and each one was a... More

Really disappointed. Downstairs room was nice, but Chablis was acidic, steak was tough and fish was undercooked. The waiter had absolutely no idea about the wines he was selling. To get over how poor the food was, we did have two bottles of wine, but I felt £150 for two people was too expensive for the poor quality we experienced... More

In an area that seems to be full of great restaurants, Aurora holds its own as a charmingly bohemian place to eat. A simple and intimate interior matched by a straightforward menu of honest food. Unfortunately, we didn't get a table on the popular ground floor and were sidelined into the basement which is a makeshift dining area on the... More

I was in Soho yesterday trying to find dinner. I first went to Le Garrick and Andrew&Edmunds, but unfortunately both were fully booked. Quite hungry, I walked across the street from A&E and decided that I would just give a try at Aurora - I was not disappointed! I was quite surprised that there weren't that many bookings at Aurora.... More

Small, intimate rooms with French style cooking. Nothing too modern, but well balanced dishes. Loved the Lavender Creme Brûlée

Came across this place by chance so had no preconceived ideas of what to expect. The two waitresses were very pleasant and efficient. There was a nice atmosphere once it started to fill up a bit. From what we overheard it would seem best to book as it's obviously popular which is a bit surprising , not because of the... More

Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
