Make sure that get a table on the ground floor

I was in Soho yesterday trying to find dinner. I first went to Le Garrick and Andrew&Edmunds, but unfortunately both were fully booked. Quite hungry, I walked across the street from A&E and decided that I would just give a try at Aurora - I was not disappointed! I was quite surprised that there weren't that many bookings at Aurora.... More

Small, intimate rooms with French style cooking. Nothing too modern, but well balanced dishes. Loved the Lavender Creme Brûlée

Came across this place by chance so had no preconceived ideas of what to expect. The two waitresses were very pleasant and efficient. There was a nice atmosphere once it started to fill up a bit. From what we overheard it would seem best to book as it's obviously popular which is a bit surprising , not because of the... More

An impromptu dinner at Aurora this week was a return visit for us. This restaurant has one of those menus where you are spoilt for choice. I had the most scrumptious warm lamb salad which was delicious and a very generous portion. My husband had the squid which was divine and beautifully flavoured. We both had the duck confit as... Found the restaurant by chance on an impromptu evening out. An interesting menu, very tasty, well cooked food and good sized portions. Lovely atmosphere and charming staff. What more could you ask for! We will be returning.

This small place has charm, great food and class. It also has a garden area. Lunch here was a relaxed and unfussy. Just the right attitude. A must.

We ate here for a family meal, my daughter having been here happily several times. Six can eat at the table by the window which is great for people watching, although the door doesn't close properly so it's a little drafty. We were a little disappointed that they were still serving their December menu in January but it's nicely small... More

Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
