If you're looking for somewhere quaint to have some good food in a comfortable, relaxing environment... look no further! My boyfriend took me to Aurora for my birthday after it was recommended to him by his brother. The place is cosy with a cute back yard with tables each lit by candles that help create a very romantic atmosphere (10... More

We went here with my in-laws tonight. We just happened upon it and we're took in with its charm. We were so glad we did. The food was lovely, staff v friendly and portions huge (great for visiting northerners!) We'll be back!

Had dinner here recently with friends trying out the September menu. Had a hard job choosing from everything on offer as all sounded delicious and proved to be so. My pork chop was fantastic and my friends enthused about their steak, cod and sea bream. Could not manage desserts - portion sizes too generous for that after a starter. Very... More

Omg the Sunday roast is out of this world . Portion size is large . The potatoes are roasted to perfection. The lamb is tender and seasoned well. The roasted vegetables are tender and not mushy . The location and the service is unmatchable . The price is extremely reasonable .

Small but superb menu - between us my friends and I ordered virtually everything, and it was all fab. But my duck was so good I refused to let anyone else taste it.

Was in London for a day to entertain a friend visiting from overseas. Wandered around Soho looking for a leisurely lunch venue, looked in the window of Aurora and glimpsed the garden area at the back. As luck would have it a garden table was available and so we spent a very pleasant couple of hours in their beautiful courtyard... More

Followed friend's advice to go here for dinner - definitely worth it! Management was very polite and flexible when we turned out to be 16 people instead of 10, and tried to satisfy all our needs. All my friends ordered different things and confirmed the quality of it! The only thing to remark was the lack of air conditioning.. Will... More

In Soho where you can never find a table, and are constantly being sat on a stool and told that you need to leave in 1.5 hours, Aurora is an oasis of calm and civilisation in a brutal and fast degenerating world of soho restaurant. No annoying decorative themes, no polyester napkins. Reliable food and friendly service too...

My wife and I had a lovely Sunday lunch in the small courtyard garden. The meals were delicious and bigger than you usually get in central London restaurants. The service was very friendly and unobtrusive. The main thing was the great location. When you sit in the courtyard garden in the sunshine it's very hard believe you are a few... More
