Description: Featuring the rude owner, the best crispy duck and original Chinese recipes that won’t be found elsewhere, “Crispy Duck” is probably the best and most traditional Chinese restaurant of Chinatown. A good choice for dim sum as well.

We went to the Crispy duck in Gerard street in London after deciding to take my 15 year old son for a birthday meal and he wanted to go to Chinatown. I looked on line and read the reviews, we were not disappointed, the service was good, attentive and not overbearing, the food was excellent, prawns in tempura batter were... More

Every time I am in london I try to go there, to get the Crispy Duck with pancakes... LOVELY!! They also let you come in very late, which is very practical when you have early theater seats.

A small restaurant, but the food and service is very good. Prices are very competitive. Dim sum can be order up to 5pm, but there are a good range of other foods on the menu you can easily ordered. I went with my 2 sons, ordered beef chow mein, crispy pork with price, and chilli black bean sauce with ho... More

My husband, myself and my 2 children visited this restaurant last week. I had read several recommendations on Trip Advisor and thought their Crispy Duck sounded good. We arrived at about 18.15, hadn't booked, but a table was found for us straight away. We started with Dim Sum - 2 portions between the 4 of us. We then had the... More

It was a nightmarish trip as i was hit with ear infection on day 2 of trip. After visiting the specialists on day 3 I went on trial of pharmacies to get my medicine. Some how we ended up having lunch at Crispy Duck and wat a revelation it was. Lobster noodles which serves 2 cost only 18pounds and the... More

Currently closed for a refurbishment, but you must go when it reopens. Fantastic Dim Sum and other platters!

From someone who has eaten a lot of Dim Sum around London's Chinatown, this is hands down the best. You'll never get British service and atmosphere here and if that's something you're after, be prepared to sacrifice either food quality, authenticity, money (or all three) and head to one of the new "modern" Chinese restaurants and chains dotting up around... My husband and I ate here tonight. It was near where we were staying & the reviews seemed good. It's not great when you go in, tables very close together. Waiters were very pleasent & attentive. However, the food was the biggest let down. My staters of vegetarian spring rolls had no flavour apart from the oil they were cooked... More
