A great place to meet people

Cecconi's Mayfair, located just behind the Royal Academy, is a chic Venetian-style restaurant and bar, a buzzy place. Food is very nice and mostly italian. Service is very professional.

Open early (we arrived at 7.30) and delicious selection of good breakfast food to cater for the health nuts and heart attack defiers alike. Nice busy atmosphere but not too noisy for a working breakfast. Will come again.

I've often walked past here - but we decided to try it for a celebratory lunch on a Sunday. The location is very central and easy to find - and the menu looked just right. On arrival it was very busy and the table we were given was probably too small for 5 - it felt a bit cramped. The... More

Good and fresh food. The tuna tartare was excelent. Nothing else was good enough to highlight. Staff nice but service could be better, maybe understaffed.

From service to desert every detail was a great experience. The ambience and quality of food deserves the price. If you are in London I would suggest to stop by and enjoy a amazing dinner!!!

Very good, simple, Italian-based food at this lively restaurant just by Burlington arcade. The service is always attentive and the food terrific - and with a wine list that doesn't burn a hole in your pocket. This is a regular haunt and it doesn't disappoint

We ate here before our return home , we we staying near Piccadilly so the restaurant was a great location . I loved the restaurant , ambience and overall look were great, staff were friendly and attentive. The restaurant is obviously a popular choice as customers were constantly arriving and waiting for tables. I had crab ravioli which was superb,... More

Great atmosphere and bar for business drinks and entertaining. Service is a bit hit or miss -- they are quick to pour and finish your wine bottle but will forget about your water glass-- annoying when you are paying the price. All around, a great place but service could use a refresh.

I have been to Cecconis many times with my family and boyfriend. I love the classic décor and the simple yet tasty menu however on my last visit I wasn't too overwhelmed. The Beef Carpaccio was over cooked and smothered in so much oil I had to wipe some off on my napkin. Having said that my main and dessert... More

Staying in Mayfair

Neighborhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
