Super service

Clearly other reviews on TA have resulted in a massive improvement in service - friendly, efficient, easy communication. Good food, a large variety of choices. Nice dim sum option, although unlike other places no options to see if being made. A good choice in Chinatown.

Was back in London so I had to return here after my last meal. I was not disappointed the food was amazing. If I had to find fault it was that the bottled beer was not cold enough. Such a small criticism but the overall experience was great. We took our kids and they ate the lot. Can't wait to... More

There were ten of us last Saturday in Chinatown at around 6pm, hungry and not knowing where to go, decided to venture into Imperial China in chinatown. It did not appear to be a big restaurant from outside but it was. There was a little wooden bridge to greet us with some lovely carps swimming under the bridge and we... More

excellent food, good reviews on the food, chinese dishes that meet expectations. for sure the service is quite distant when you don't speak chinese but most waiters stay professional and nice. good dim sum. very popular restaurant, often packed, avoid when there is massive congregation of people. quite nice, do it before everybody rush in.

The beef satay starter was disgusting, it was a lump of fatty boiled meat on a stick with oily sauce. The crab was deep fried to death and was solid. The mains were inedible so we complained and got our money back. The service wasn't up to much either, one waiter served out table without looking where he was placing... More

Decided we were going to go to China Town for a meal and this was the first place we stumbled upon really. The food was really good and the service was quick, but the staff were not particularly friendly. A little smile would have been nice. That said, still a very enjoyable meal.

In my opinion, this is the best place to have Dim Sum in London. The food is excellent and the service is fairly good. I will always keep coming back for more!

These people MUST learn to smile. This is meant to be a service industry. Poor beyond poor. Avoid like the plague.

From the 12 foot wide front of this restaurant, you would not believe that there is room for 300 people over three floors. The decor is of a high standard. Despite reading other reviews for this place that complain of poor service, we found the complete opposite. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food is quite expensive, but the... More

Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
