Getting best Sushi Fix

I absolutely love Sushi and the Kulu Kulu on Shelton Street, is one of the best around. The food is wonderfully delicate and flavourful - divine.

Visited recently for lunch with friends. Similar set up to Yo sushi with a conveyor belt dispalying multiple choices of sushi , sashimi and rolls. The deep fried hairy prawns were delicious and the sushi fresh . Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Good spot for a quick lunch -more for locals than the tourist haunts nearer Covent Garden

My friend and I order a sushi platter Z. There're 20 pieces of assorted nigiri sushi and 24 pieces of assorted roll sushi, which costs us £35.40. 10% discount is given. The free self-service drink is green tea. Everything was filling. We went around 7.30pm and the sushi was served within just 10 minutes. However, in my opinion, the sushi... More

I was there with a friend and really enjoyed the variety of sushi. It´s not one of the best ever sushi places I have been to, but a very good value for money. We had as much sushi we were able to manage at that time. Choices were taken care of. A place to go when you are looking for... More

Only place that I know of in London that has sushi on a conveyor belt (apart from yo sushi). Nothing to right home about, its a relaxed atmosphere with plenty of hustle and bustle. The food that is OK, I only go there for the novelty, free green tea and a place to hang out whilst entertaining myself with the... More

The place looks quite unassuming from outstanding and then inside feels quite basic and the decor is simple to say the least. But it's the food that's the reason to visit. It's incredibly busy here over lunch but you can't book so expect to wait for a little bit over lunch time. It's bigger than you expect inside and the... More

Very close to Covent garden station this place is said to be a secret in the centre of London. I like the roll of dishes. I definitely to sit in a chair than a stool, however the food was very good and the prices reasonable. Please note that it's a small place which can become crowded very quick and I... More

Went here for some 'cheap' sushi and was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. Me and a friend filled up on loads of fresh sushi...the fish was good quality and the rice tasted like it was freshly made. The bill came to just £20 between us (after a 10% discount they were offering at the time) and we were... More

I genuinely cannot understand all of the great reviews about Kulu Kulu on Shelton Street. Even taking it as what it is meant to be - a quick, cheap, no-frills sushi bar - Kulu Kulu falls very far below the standard. I usually write much more detailed and lengthy reviews but, as I simply cannot be bothered to waste any... More

Three of us went as a pre theatre lunch. Tiny place just away from the hustle and bustle of Covent Garden. The sushi was wonderful, the tuna was sooo fresh and tasty. My daughter ate tons of the salmon which was lovely too. She loves Yo! but they are getting expensive and poor so we tried hear - she wants... More
