very good and fresh Japanese food on a conveyor belt. I go to this place for lunch or dinner at least once a week. The food is fresh, delicious and you can have a quick bite as the foos is mostly ready. You can also order some warm dishes. my favourites are aubergines and shrimps tempura. you can go alone,... We were looking around for some sushi before the theatre and spotted this restaurant on the internet. The surroundings are a bit jaded and uninspiring, reminded me of a 60's café invaded by the Japanese. The staff were very friendly and clearly this is a spot favoured by "people in the know". Was the food any good ? It was... More

Popped in for Friday lunch on the dot of 12 when they open and the food was coming onto the conveyor thick and fast. 5 dishes cost me £11.50 with the current 10% discount, which is great value for delicious sushi and good portions, especially in this part of London. So much better than Yo sushi and with some interesting... More

Good - Large portions. Tuna and chicken karage, salmon ebi hand rolls and sashimi are all excellent. Reasonable prices despite recent price hike. Friendly service. Not so good. If you go when it's not so busy - the selection on the conveyor belt can be pretty slim. Conclusion Great for light lunch, quick evening meal with friends. As it's all... More

Found this chestnut whilst browsing online and walking round covent garden. It's not much to look at from the outside, but once your in there it's very reasonable price wise for the area and the food is great. I don't usually go for the salmon dishes, but they were irresistible. The atmosphere was good and everybody was chatty and enjoying... More

tiny conveyor belt in the middle of the room for help yourself service and one table for 4 to the side; works for one or two people - would probably be hard and not ideal to have 3 or 4 seats in a row at the bar. that said, really good sushi - definitely, a keeper :)

Been here many times, and always found the food fine, a nice location, not to busy. On arriving the closed sign was still on the door, but the door was open, I mentioned it to the cashier, who didn't seen that bothered, so I turned the sign for him. We had a bottle of white wine which was nice and... More

Kulu Kulu is definitely quantity over quality but not always in a bad way. Massive portions of whatever you pluck from the conveyor belt, but sometimes serving so much on each plate at such reasonable prices means it's a bit of a lottery. As a regular I've whittled my list down to certain favourites (ebi or soft shell crab hand... More

Having been to the other Kulu Kulu on Brewer street on a number of occasions I came here thinking I would find more of the same. Wrong. Very little variety of sushi. Only salmon sashimi, and pretty flavorless at that. The conveyor belt was almost empty, it was spinning sadly with little to show. The miso soup was probably from... More

went here for an early evening meal with the little ones. As ever great sushi but we kept having to remind the waitress what we had ordered and still some didn't arrive. Great value and narrowly misses on 5 just for that alone recommended
