Description: In the very heart of London, just steps from the madness of Leicester Square is Piazza, a very Italian restaurant in a very British location. A family run eatery for seventeen years, Piazza is renowned for a welcome which will transport visitors from the impersonal, crowded West End to a tiny Italian village. Traditional in every sense, from the green awning over the glass frontage to the simple white walls and dark wood furniture of the rustic interior, Piazza gives a sense of comfort even before the food arrives. On the menu, you'll find everything from authentic bruschetta, to great seafood, to deliciously fresh pizzas, and the most popular pasta dishes too. Surprisingly affordable, Piazza makes a wonderful pre-theatre stop-off, or, thanks to incredible lunch offers, a fantastic place to take a break between shopping and sightseeing.

Nice food and we sat outside. Good break from a touristy day. Food options were quite wide and it was a very relaxed and very tasty meal.

Great fresh Italian food- much better than I dared to hope and good value too! I had the ins always tricolore and bruschetta. Tomatos and avocados were perfectly ripe and the bruschetta had just the right amount of garlic. Stop by if you're in the neighborhood!

We had dinner at Piazza before going to the Theatre and we really enjoyed it. The restaurant itself is quite small, cosy and very clean. The service is efficient, the food is really very good and the staff are very friendly. Altogether a very pleasant experience. Look forward to visiting again. Good discounts are available weekdays if you have a tastecard... More

I was absolutely famished after a long morning of classes and Piazza was just the place to fill me up. Located near the Museum of London, you will see businessmen and students alike queuing up to grab a tasty sandwich. Although this establishment advertises as a sandwich bar, Piazza serves up much more than sandwiches. However, I did get the... More

Visited this place for the 2nd time with my partner and daughter before going to the theatre. Again the food was amazing, the service was great and the staff friendly. If you are planning on eating around 6pm I would suggest booking as it gets very busy. We managed to walk in and be seated at 5:15 but with in... More

We ended up in this restaurant by coincidence, after having walked in the neighborhood for a while searching for something not too expensive. We really found a treasure here! The gnocci with mushrooms and pesto is one of the best meals I've had on this week long trip to London. The tiramisu for desert was really great too. The staff... More

Must be a family owned place as the food tasted like mams made it. Unique menu, every thing was terrific and original. Small but worth it. You can see it when you exit the Leicester tube station or go find it. You will not be disappointed. Great value, very friendly service. actually went back and ate their twice

Have not been to this restaurant for a couple of years - the excellent quality of the food has not changed, it's well cooked and served by friendlyand obliging staff. The sweets were really nice (once we both had decided which ones to have!) Like some of the other reviews on this particular restauant,we also object to having the service... More

After seeing a West End my fiance and I were rather hungry for some food, this was open and still serving food at 11 30, so I had spaghetti bolognese which was very nice. Service took a while but they were very polite, not a very exciting meal. I didn't like the service charge that was automatically on the bill... More
