Description: In the very heart of London, just steps from the madness of Leicester Square is Piazza, a very Italian restaurant in a very British location. A family run eatery for seventeen years, Piazza is renowned for a welcome which will transport visitors from the impersonal, crowded West End to a tiny Italian village. Traditional in every sense, from the green awning over the glass frontage to the simple white walls and dark wood furniture of the rustic interior, Piazza gives a sense of comfort even before the food arrives. On the menu, you'll find everything from authentic bruschetta, to great seafood, to deliciously fresh pizzas, and the most popular pasta dishes too. Surprisingly affordable, Piazza makes a wonderful pre-theatre stop-off, or, thanks to incredible lunch offers, a fantastic place to take a break between shopping and sightseeing.

We arrived quite late after an exhausting walk on sunday evening. The weather was poor and we found a comfortable and warm atmosphere in this restaurant. The waitress welcomed us outlight, and we seated near a mirror in a very quiet table. We shared the vegetarian antipasto and the garlic bread with some mushrooms. unbelivable how these latter were brilliant,... More

We arrived around 2240 after a show and were seated quickly. The menu is sensible, with enough choice to suit most tastes. I had a vegetarian lasagne which was far better than most, and baked in its own dish. The pasta was delicious and the tomato sauce particularly good. The portions were generous and the prices very reasonable, especially given... More

Eventhough the young staff of the restaurant was friendly, the owner is very rude with a bad temper. The food is medium to tolerate this horrible behaviour. I would never in my life visit this place again.

On a visit to London as a birthday treat my wife and I needed a place to eat before the theatre. We turned up without a reservation and were greeted with a smiling welcome. Seated without fuss and served with quiet efficiency we were soon enjoying simple well cooked Italian fare. I had linguine pollo piccante and my wife ate... More

We were the first customers of the day last Sunday at 12.20pm. By the time we left at 2.00pm the restaurant was buzzing with not a table spare. Yet with only one waiter and one chap serving behind the little bar, nobody had any cause to complain. Everything carried out with a smile. Food great, service even better. Would most... More

We booked our team Christmas meal here in December 2013 (apologies for late review). There were 10 of us and we had a great time. The restaurent was in a great location, a few drinks in the Brewmaster a couple of doors down and headed over for our meal. We were seated in a pleasant upstairs area of the restaurent... More

I rate as "average" because when our meals eventually arrived they were quite tasty. Not exactly what we ordered.... but by then we would have eaten anything ! So we wouldn't let them take the food away. As a party of four adults with two children in tow we did find it difficult to find anywhere with the space to... More

My nan, mum and I visited after a Saturday matinee theatre showing. The food was fantastic (I'd recommend the pollo piccante in red pesto sauce), great wine reasonably priced (Pinot noir was lovely), prompt service without being overbearing and the price was extremely reasonable. I would definitely visit again.

I came on a busy Saturday evening looking to sit outdoors as the weather was lovely. We were then informed that there was an outdoor courtyard area which was a nice surprise. No cars and buzzing with atmosphere. We ordered a delicious Mamma soup and Caprese for starters. For mains a bistecca sizzling straight from dish and a cod fillet... More
