Description: In the very heart of London, just steps from the madness of Leicester Square is Piazza, a very Italian restaurant in a very British location. A family run eatery for seventeen years, Piazza is renowned for a welcome which will transport visitors from the impersonal, crowded West End to a tiny Italian village. Traditional in every sense, from the green awning over the glass frontage to the simple white walls and dark wood furniture of the rustic interior, Piazza gives a sense of comfort even before the food arrives. On the menu, you'll find everything from authentic bruschetta, to great seafood, to deliciously fresh pizzas, and the most popular pasta dishes too. Surprisingly affordable, Piazza makes a wonderful pre-theatre stop-off, or, thanks to incredible lunch offers, a fantastic place to take a break between shopping and sightseeing.

Visited this place for the 2nd time with my partner and daughter before going to the theatre. Again the food was amazing, the service was great and the staff friendly. If you are planning on eating around 6pm I would suggest booking as it gets very busy. We managed to walk in and be seated at 5:15 but with in... More

We ended up in this restaurant by coincidence, after having walked in the neighborhood for a while searching for something not too expensive. We really found a treasure here! The gnocci with mushrooms and pesto is one of the best meals I've had on this week long trip to London. The tiramisu for desert was really great too. The staff... More

Must be a family owned place as the food tasted like mams made it. Unique menu, every thing was terrific and original. Small but worth it. You can see it when you exit the Leicester tube station or go find it. You will not be disappointed. Great value, very friendly service. actually went back and ate their twice

Have not been to this restaurant for a couple of years - the excellent quality of the food has not changed, it's well cooked and served by friendlyand obliging staff. The sweets were really nice (once we both had decided which ones to have!) Like some of the other reviews on this particular restauant,we also object to having the service... More

After seeing a West End my fiance and I were rather hungry for some food, this was open and still serving food at 11 30, so I had spaghetti bolognese which was very nice. Service took a while but they were very polite, not a very exciting meal. I didn't like the service charge that was automatically on the bill... More

We stumbled across this delightful Italian restaurant whilst looking for something to eat in Central London. The service was superb, the food was delicious and the price was reasonable. My only criticism was that the staff automatically added a service charge, something that I do not agree with. That said I would recommend this restaurant and would certainly visit it... More

Italian food was our preferred choice and not wanting to eat in any of the many 'chain' restaurants we found this charming little traditional Italian right beside the theatre and it was exactly what we had hoped for. Very nice service in this busy and atmospheric restaurant. Pasta was very good and if you like a little spice I would... More

We have eaten in this restaurant many times. We have never experienced any of the negative experiences written in the past and find it hard to believe they are reviewing the same little restaurant. In London it is often the case of hunt the polite restaurant which does not rip you off! We like this restaurant for pre show meals... More

A real old-fashioned Italian restaurant with no pretensions, but serving well-cooked, good-sized portions. The menu is varied offering such staples as pizza and pasta dishes (the ravioli was particularly good). All in all a great experience, fantastically good value - remember, we're in the middle of theatreland and heaving with tourists, so the temptation to charge over the odds has... More
