Description: In the very heart of London, just steps from the madness of Leicester Square is Piazza, a very Italian restaurant in a very British location. A family run eatery for seventeen years, Piazza is renowned for a welcome which will transport visitors from the impersonal, crowded West End to a tiny Italian village. Traditional in every sense, from the green awning over the glass frontage to the simple white walls and dark wood furniture of the rustic interior, Piazza gives a sense of comfort even before the food arrives. On the menu, you'll find everything from authentic bruschetta, to great seafood, to deliciously fresh pizzas, and the most popular pasta dishes too. Surprisingly affordable, Piazza makes a wonderful pre-theatre stop-off, or, thanks to incredible lunch offers, a fantastic place to take a break between shopping and sightseeing.

We were going to the theatre and didn't know where we were going to eat. We chose the Piazza because it was very close and discovered a little gem!!!! The pre-theatre menu was lovely, very well cooked and presented. It included a glass of wine which was a bonus. Very reasonably priced and staff were friendly and professional. Would definitely... For London this was a very reasonable lunch at a decent price, friendly staff, good food quickly served (but not rushed) and quite a surprising find for such a touristy area. However i think we got lucky with a lunchtime offer... not sure if they limit it each day because when we left it wasnt advertised.

Today I was in this restaurant with my friends for first time, and It has been the most awful italian food I have ever tried in my life. We ordered some starters, one of those was roasted vegetables with mozzarella di Buffala and the cheese and the vegetables did not taste well. When we said to the waitress, she said... More

Typical Italian restaurant right in the heart of theatre land. Good food and really nice quality and sensibly priced. Clearly gets very busy in the run up to show time. Couple of aspects would have made for an even better experience. House keeping need to up their game. The dust on the wall cornices was bad and they cram you... More

I was in London and headed for my usual trip to Carluccios near Convent Garden & it had closed! Took a quick look on Trip Advisor at the other Italian restaurants in the vicinity and non of them had great reviews. We plummeted for the Piazza, took out chances and glad we did! Great & quick service throughout and very... More

A delightful venue. A good choice on the menu. Sensible prices, this is Central London. A quiet spot with friendly and attentive staff. We will definitely visit here again when in town.

I booked for a family of 9 for a pre-theatre meal on Friday 27th December, supposedly at 4.45 People turned up in dribs and drabs at completely different times, but the staff could not have been more accommodating or made us feel more welcome. They set up a special table for us in the upstairs dining room and the food... More

In London with my husband, my two children and their partners for a weekend before Christmas. We've all been to London many times before together and in several other combinations. Each time we have eaten at a small Italian on Orange Street, which has unfortunately just closed down. I was a bit dubious when I saw a couple of the... More

I visited this restaurant with friends recently after searching for somewhere that would accept a Tastecard on a Friday night. We took a gamble with this one and were all thoroughly impressed and will be returning soon. The food was tasty and very good value for the location. The staff were friendly and helpful and were in no hurry to... More
