Description: In the very heart of London, just steps from the madness of Leicester...
In the very heart of London, just steps from the madness of Leicester Square is Piazza, a very Italian restaurant in a very British location. A family run eatery for seventeen years, Piazza is renowned for a welcome which will transport visitors from the impersonal, crowded West End to a tiny Italian village. Traditional in every sense, from the green awning over the glass frontage to the simple white walls and dark wood furniture of the rustic interior, Piazza gives a sense of comfort even before the food arrives. On the menu, you'll find everything from authentic bruschetta, to great seafood, to deliciously fresh pizzas, and the most popular pasta dishes too. Surprisingly affordable, Piazza makes a wonderful pre-theatre stop-off, or, thanks to incredible lunch offers, a fantastic place to take a break between shopping and sightseeing.

Great location, friendly, tasty, quick but check your cheese!

Borderline 'very good' rating in view of value for money with a discount card. We went pre-theatre, partly as it accepts discount cards (positively, not grudgingly like some). It certainly met our needs. It's just 30m from Leicester Sq station, which is great. Service was with a smile (all those... read more

Booked it through my taste card. It was a last minute booking and a weekend, but the restaurant still accepted it. Although it is situated in a very touristy place, 2min walk from Leicester square station, the food on the plate was amazing, filling and tasty. Will definitely go there again.

Wow! This place really is a well kept secret. The service and food in here is 10/10 - not to mention the location!! Fab! Right across the road from Leicester Square tube station. The food was honestly some of the best Italian food I have ever tasted. We had a lovely waitress who smiled the entire night and our taste... More

On my day off yesterday I have decided to go to Leicester Square to have a meal. As everybody know sometime it's very difficult to find an authentic restaurant, specially in there. So I went inside piazza and I had a pizza diavola. It was the best pizza I ever had for long time. The spicy beef was just excellent! Staff... More

We liked this restaurant, nice italian food. In our 4 days stay at London, we visited this restaurant twice as we liked it very much. Good pasta and good pizza. Prices are ok and very correct. We would recommend this restaurant to friends.

My friends and I always go to this restaurant every time we're in London for theatre or shopping. The food is always of an excellent standard (I assume its home cooked) and quickly served which is what we want on a tight schedule. Having said that, we are never made to feel rushed. The prices are also very reasonable.

Located beside one of the entrances to Leicester Square Underground. Seating is close together giving quite a buzz to the restaurant even when not crowded, but note, if you have not booked and you look in, it may appear to be full, but there is an upstairs section of the restaurant that might have a table for you! Good authentic... More
