Description: In the very heart of London, just steps from the madness of Leicester...
In the very heart of London, just steps from the madness of Leicester Square is Piazza, a very Italian restaurant in a very British location. A family run eatery for seventeen years, Piazza is renowned for a welcome which will transport visitors from the impersonal, crowded West End to a tiny Italian village. Traditional in every sense, from the green awning over the glass frontage to the simple white walls and dark wood furniture of the rustic interior, Piazza gives a sense of comfort even before the food arrives. On the menu, you'll find everything from authentic bruschetta, to great seafood, to deliciously fresh pizzas, and the most popular pasta dishes too. Surprisingly affordable, Piazza makes a wonderful pre-theatre stop-off, or, thanks to incredible lunch offers, a fantastic place to take a break between shopping and sightseeing.

Great!!!

The food and service in this great location is simply superb. Table for two on a Sunday evening, reservation recommended, with prompt and friendly service at fantastic value ( we used a Taste card - just let them know). Would most definitely book again, and would recommend to everyone.

Happened to be around the Leicester Square area again and decided to have lunch at Piazza haven eaten here once before. The food is nice and the staff friendly. It was fairly early so not that busy. We ordered some olives and garlic bread. My only criticism is the olives are not the best. The garlic bread was absolutely fine.... More

We walked all over London during the day and wanted a place to sit and relax. At first glance, we were not overly impressed but we were greeted by a friendly host. We had the house wine and it was wonderful. All 4 of us loved our meals! Deliciously creamy carbonara, padded with shrimp gamblers and the pollo picante was... More

Had a lovely pre theatre meal here. Excellent value (especially as they accept the Tastecard). The location is perfect as right by Leicester sq tube and a short walk to so many of the theatres. Staff friendly and even though it was busy they were suitably attentive. Food was really tasty and nicely presented. Will definitely be returning.

Food at Piazza was delicious, couldn't fault it. All the family enjoyed their meals and at a reasonable price for a good location in the centre of London. Busy but did not have a long wait and the staff attentive and friendly. Would go again if in London. Thank you.

Had a pre theatre meal here on 10.2.15. Service was excellent, very helpful staff. We all had pasta dishes for mains and none of us were disappointed. Used tastecard which made it very reasonable. Would definately go back.

My husband and I went to Piazza after a matinee show and were thrilled with our choice. Although the outside of the restaurant isn't pretentious, the location is great and the food was delicious. Staff were attentive and friendly and the whole experience was one we would recommend to anyone. The bill at the end of the meal was a... More

We wanted a pre-theatre meal and wanted to use Tastecard. The Piazza was ideal...friendly service, good food and very reasonable prices. Very convenient for most west-end theatres. And, it's a family-run restaurant not part of a chain. We'll use it again.

Words cannot describe how awful the food was here. Can't even be bothered writing a full review. Staff we're arrogant and couldn't even speak or understand English so got my drink order muddled up. Food was so bad I can't even summon up the words to speak about it. Put it this way, once I got back to my hotel... More

Me and my friend went there last night, we planned on using the tastecard which on the website says you get 50% off on a Friday. The olives tasted like they had been sat in Vinegar for an age, the service was abrupt and slow - they forgot my friends parmesan, left us waiting for the bill and overall barely... More
