Description: In the very heart of London, just steps from the madness of Leicester...
In the very heart of London, just steps from the madness of Leicester Square is Piazza, a very Italian restaurant in a very British location. A family run eatery for seventeen years, Piazza is renowned for a welcome which will transport visitors from the impersonal, crowded West End to a tiny Italian village. Traditional in every sense, from the green awning over the glass frontage to the simple white walls and dark wood furniture of the rustic interior, Piazza gives a sense of comfort even before the food arrives. On the menu, you'll find everything from authentic bruschetta, to great seafood, to deliciously fresh pizzas, and the most popular pasta dishes too. Surprisingly affordable, Piazza makes a wonderful pre-theatre stop-off, or, thanks to incredible lunch offers, a fantastic place to take a break between shopping and sightseeing.

We chose the restaurant randomly as we just wanted to have dinner. I ordered pasta and my boyfriend Quattro Stagioni pizza. When I tried a slice I regretted ordering that pasta. I can say that was one of the best pizzas i have tried.

I went there accidentaly day after Valentine, to chill out with my boyfriend(it was evening). Table we were seated was located right next to the bar, it was fine. Nice table with fresh rose, I say. Several mistakes appeared in service during dining, even related our food, but I m patient and I m coming to enjoy, not to look... More

Top notch. Who would have expected such a good restaurant in a potential tourist-trap area? Excellent service, delicious food and great value. Pollo funghi was lovely, chicken very tender. Group of five all loved it.

We ate here with my girlfriend after having been to the theater and it was a good Italian experience. The pizzas are very tasty, with plenty of cheese and a soft base. Even if it was late, the staff was very polite and had good advices.

Limited menu of authentic Itaian dishes . Delicious food and really good value. So much better than the chains one finds all over London. Located right opposite Leicseste Square tube. Small and busy with a great atmosphere and delightul friendly efficient staff.

Ate here after matinee Theatre outing to see Once The Musical (which was excellent). We were looking for a restaurant that wasn't stuffy, we could be comfortable with the children and enjoy a chilled out decent meal to end a great day. With the aid of Trip Advisor this was exactly what we found. Wanted something other than a chain... More
