Description: In the very heart of London, just steps from the madness of Leicester...
In the very heart of London, just steps from the madness of Leicester Square is Piazza, a very Italian restaurant in a very British location. A family run eatery for seventeen years, Piazza is renowned for a welcome which will transport visitors from the impersonal, crowded West End to a tiny Italian village. Traditional in every sense, from the green awning over the glass frontage to the simple white walls and dark wood furniture of the rustic interior, Piazza gives a sense of comfort even before the food arrives. On the menu, you'll find everything from authentic bruschetta, to great seafood, to deliciously fresh pizzas, and the most popular pasta dishes too. Surprisingly affordable, Piazza makes a wonderful pre-theatre stop-off, or, thanks to incredible lunch offers, a fantastic place to take a break between shopping and sightseeing.

Came here for dinner using a tastecard on a week night. It was fairly busy and the service was considerably slow. After waiting 40 minutes for our mains, we asked the waitress how long our food would be and she said she would go inside and check. She then came back out immediately with our food which we suspect had... More

To be fair we only came here because we were extremely tired and hungry and couldn’t be bothered to look for something else. It doesn’t look overly appealing from the outside but thank got we’ve discovered it as it was the best meal I had in London. Big portions of warm, yummy food exploding with flavours – that’s what you... More

Booked a table for 2 for 10.15 after seeing Jersey Boys, arrived 15 mins late,no problem, table was ready. My partner has gluten intolerance, pasta is a problem, there are some dishes with gluten, though these are ok,so just note that if you say you are allergic, the number of dishes is limited, though with intolerance,it's just the amount of pasta that limits. The food was delicious, freshly cooked,didn't... More

Had lunch here on our taste card we were very early for lunch 12 noon but it was no,problem for them. We were served by a very nice young Italian girl who was pleasant and friendly. Food was good honest Italian homemade cooking, much better then chain groups. Would certainly use this restaurant again when in London.

This was one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever been to, the food is just incredible. It gets very busy so be sure to book a table. I ordered the Giardiniera and it was delicious. My partner also loved this restaurant and thought the food was amazing. We will be back for sure!

We came across Piazza while looking for a pre - theatre dinner. Just off Leicester Square, it is nice to find an independent restaurant in an area of chains and formal eateries. They offer a traditional Italian menu, at reasonable prices. The food was all well prepared and presented and a good size portion. The staff were friendly and efficient,... More

The reviews led me to book a pre theatre table here and I was not disappointed. We received a very warm welcome from our charming Italian waitress called Arianne. She was extremely attentive through the meal and made our visit very memorable. Although it was Friday night I was able to use my Gourmet Society card which gave me 50%... More

Went here for lunch at the weekend, the location is convenient and they have a seating area at the back which is surprisingly quiet for the area. Service is not the fastest but it is pleasant. Had a pizza and it wasn't great to be honest although my other half loved the salad she ordered.

Very much enjoyed dinner at this reasonably priced restaurant. Good service and food, well worth trying. It seemed most, if not all, the staff were Italian. As an added touch the waiter brought us a shot of Amaretto at the end of our meal. I would recommend this to others and I would return.
