Description: In the very heart of London, just steps from the madness of Leicester...
In the very heart of London, just steps from the madness of Leicester Square is Piazza, a very Italian restaurant in a very British location. A family run eatery for seventeen years, Piazza is renowned for a welcome which will transport visitors from the impersonal, crowded West End to a tiny Italian village. Traditional in every sense, from the green awning over the glass frontage to the simple white walls and dark wood furniture of the rustic interior, Piazza gives a sense of comfort even before the food arrives. On the menu, you'll find everything from authentic bruschetta, to great seafood, to deliciously fresh pizzas, and the most popular pasta dishes too. Surprisingly affordable, Piazza makes a wonderful pre-theatre stop-off, or, thanks to incredible lunch offers, a fantastic place to take a break between shopping and sightseeing.

I went there just over 2 weeks ago on a Thursday night with a group of my friends and we all enjoyed dining there. One of my friends was running very late and the staff did not rush us to order our food. We even told them that we have taste cards when we made the booking and still they... More

We stumbled upon this little gem of a restaurant as we came out at Leicester Sq Tube Station one evening in late December. We felt welcome and, while relaxed, the atmosphere was formal enough to leave us feeling we'd been somewhere nice. We greatly enjoyed the beautiful quality of the pasta and pizza. The price was very affordable and on... More

Not the first visit and won't be the last. Delicious and authentic meals. Pizzas and pasta tasted amazing - just a shame we didn't have time for pudding. It was packed out and one staff member short so staff were really busy

Perfect location for Theatreland and the staff are very quick to serve without making you feel rushed so that you can get to your show feeling replete and relaxed. A busy spot with good freshly cooked pasta dishes at reasonable prices. A preferred choice to a set menu at some of the named restaurants nearby.

Very friendly , family run restaurant. Excellent food and wine; brilliantly located in Leicester Square for theatre land and central London. Could not fault it at all! Found it onTastecard and will certainly return with or without Tastecard!

Evening meal on a Saturday night. We were welcomed and seated quickly, even though we had not booked. The waiter took our order promptly and he was also friendly and helpful. The food took a while to arrive, but it was clearly freshly cooked (and we were not in a hurry). My friend enjoyed his seafood pasta and my cod... More
