We never booked but got a nice table inside on a sunny Sunday afternoon. We had the Bruschetta & a Gamberoni (king prawn) then Veal The food was excellent freshly prepared, tasty & at a reasonable price. With a nice glass of fresh white wine.

My Wife and I visited Strada on the 2nd night of a late March 2015 Theatre Break . the restaurant is situated not far from the Strand near to several Theatres next to another Italian Restaurant. I believe we made the right choice in choosing this one . Our friendly Italian hostess was helpful and cheery and did not rush... More

Overall it was very nice and the food was mostly made on site but it did take along time for the food to arrive and it wasn't that busy 7/10

I think the title says it all. We had 2 courses here and they were all bland and the pasta was stale and overcooked. Plate servings are small and expensive. Service is shocking, our waiter was rude and charged us for olives and bottled water without telling us. Also had to ask for the bill 3 times and eventually got... More

I had lunch in this restaurant after a visit of the area. I sit near the window with an amazing view of the London Bridge. The place offer a good selection of Italian dishes. Service was good even though the place was very very crowded.

Visited at lunch time and restaurant was not full but busy, service was great, very attentive and friendly. Good on the other hand was tasteless and very small portions. We did not expect anything over the top but come on if I wanted plate of plain pasta I would stay home and cook myself

Staying in Southbank

Neighborhood Profile
Southbank
Big time attractions such as the London Eye and a thriving theatre scene (compliments of the National Theatre and the Young Vic) are but a few of the reasons that Southbank is such a collectively cherished part of town. With plenty of family friendly activities and venues lined up along a pedestrianized river bank between Westminster Bridge and Waterloo Bridge, visitors can always expect a casual and festive atmosphere. On top of all the fun stuff to do at Southbank is the opportunity to simply sit back and admire photo-op views of iconic landmarks like Parliament and St Paul's Cathedral, just on across the Thames.
