Enjoyed dinner (absolutely delicious) and breakfast the following morning plus a cooling drink after the Bupa 10000. Fabulous service, cheerful staff and fresh and tasty Italian food. Couldn't fault anything...just enjoyed the experience. Prices also excellent for central London. Pay this restaurant a visit!!

Staying just across the road (at the flash hotel with the team of formation doormen), I felt disinclined to be further relieved of large amounts of my money for a meal that might have been good, might have been "ok" or to be fair, might also have been brilliant, so did some checking for local places. I'd noticed Bongusto when... More

Been there twice for lunch with a friend. Our waitress both time was unfriendly and rude with us and with the other members of the staff, shouting on everyone in their own language (wich I understand.) The food was both times really good, and the menu is full of great choises, but, again, the staff is kinda bad. I noticed... More

Found this place by chance and loved it! Great food and lovely staff. Staff offering extra big pasta portions to all the marathon runners too which I thought was lovely.

We were staying in a local hotel where the breakfast was £19pp!. We found Bongusto courtesy of Tripadvisor, and went every morning for our breakfast whilst on our London mini-break. Friendly genuine staff, and great food at reasonable prices. Breakfast for four cost a little more than 1 person would have been back at the hotel. Good with kids too.... More

Had a lovely full English breakfast here for around £5.00 including a mug of tea and scrumptious hot buttered toast. The pastry and open sandwich counter looked wonderful too. So nice we came back for an early dinner before our West End show and had a gorgeous authentic Italian pasta dish served by happy, friendly staff. Would definitely recommend a... More

We were pleasantly surprised by this little Italian restaurant. The staff were delightful, friendly and eager to please. Home made Lasagne and Spaghetti Carbonara were some of the best we'd ever tried in a restaurant. Very reasonable prices - which is very handy if you're reluctant to pay ridiculous prices for in-house food at the nearby hotels.

Whilst staying in a nearby four star hotel where the cost of an English breakfast was £24.99 which incidentally was nothing special my wife and I decided to try the English breakfast at this Italian restaurant, what a difference and fantastic value for money with all items cooked perfectly and excellent service. We had the same experience the following day... More
