There wasn't a soul in the place before about 9pm but after that it filled up very quickly. The piano playing and singing was pretty good, it certainly allowed for a... read more

I almost don't want to write this review because I want to keep this place as a secret for myself and my friends! We went to the Piano Bar the last Friday of November and did we have a good time!! It's an intimate venue that actually doesn't look that great décor wise but it doesn't matter, it's all about... More

Chique without being pretentious, busy without being cramped. Great bar, attentive staff and a superb piano player. Sit down, relax and order a cocktail while the piano man plays requests from the crowd. Great venue.

In London for a joint 40th (me and my wife plus four friends) we had dinner nearby and were walking to the Barbican tube to go for drinks somewhere. My wife saw the sign for a piano bar and convinced us to go in and we had an amazing night! It was a busy night so we sat at the... More

Went for a Friday night to relax after work with friends. Had an amazing time. All staff very friendly. Great live music and intimate atmosphere. Very good selection of cocktails. But just to say again, the live music is what made it place great. We were only going to stay for an hour and ended up staying for 4. Time... More

Staying in Clerkenwell

Neighborhood Profile
Clerkenwell
Owing to its proximity to Smithfield Market – the site of an ancient meat market which remains in operation today – Clerkenwell boasts a plethora of globally renowned restaurants, fabulous local eateries, and some of London's favorite pubs. This isn't merely a focal point for all things foodie though. Spend enough time wondering through the area's maze of streets and you might become accustomed to the litany of slinky models passing between Clerkenwell's handful of fashion houses. Far outnumbering the models are craftspeople and designers, many of them are more than happy to welcome visitors into their studios and showrooms.
