Lovely food and good service

Absolutely food, ate here on Friday 13th. Super value and the service was great. Avoid the house wine but we bought tbe Sancerre -it was just lovely, and worth the extra. Their Char Sui pork was melt in the mouth and very tasty, starter dumplings wonderful and the Cantonese bbq duck delicious. They... read more

Another good visit in a reliable China Town restaurant. The rice with 2 or 3 meats is exceptional value for money and reliable. Service was quick but good. Sat downstairs this time and the toilets downstairs are a lot cleaner than the grotty ones upstairs.

liking the authentic look, we decided on the overseas. We were marched up to the third floor, ordered our drinks....turned out to be cans of warm coke just put in front of us with glasses. Ordered the food, and then watched as the staff went into the tiny room (can't be described as a kitchen) to dump food onto plates,... More

Seven of us visited as we met friends and family in London. We headed to Chinatown and Oversea was the first restaurant to appeal to us. We sat upstairs - which lacked character - but was clean and tidy. The staff were very good and looked after the needs of our larger group. We ordered a whole crispy duck which... More

I have tried their crispy duck and dim sum as suggested by other reviewers and I be honest with you it's tasteless and greasy. The roast duck seem to have hung on the windows for hours as it look dry and it was stone cold when served to my table and full of fat. I go next door or opposit... More

Just tried a few dishes of dim sum mainly consist of prawns. There were hugh fresh tasting whole prawns in them, not the usual chopped up minced prawns. Pleasantly surprised and also had seafood fried rice, it actually has stir fried taste from the wok with generous amount of seafood too. Definitely better than lots of so call average standard dim... We have always referred to this restaurant as the "Crispy Duck" on account of the crispy duck promotion in the restaurant window; I think this is a common misnaming and that both these names for the same restaurant are being reviewed on tripadvisor... Some friends and I were wandering around Chinatown in London looking for a good restaurant to eat it. The choice of Chinese restaurants was vast, so we looked at Trip Advisor and chose this one. Wow! Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
