Worst chips ever. I keep hoping they have improved and so I return every few months. But no. Still dreadful. How hard is it to get chips right?

I went to this fish and chip shop the other night and decided to have some spring rolls. £3 for two small rolls and although I waited ages for them to be cooked they were very nice indeed. This is the fish&chip takeaway opposite Blackheath Station so is in a prime position for village & passing trade yet I have met no one who would return after their first visit.The fish,chips and other offerings are served from a long since cooked pile of fish being kept warm under lights,this means the fish tastes old and long since fried.... More

We went to this fish bar to get some chips to eat on the Heath. The staff were in such a rush regardless of the fact the shop was mostly empty. The girl behind the counter quickly put the chips in the bag without asking me if I wanted to put some salt and vinegar on the chips myself which... More
