Excellent

We dropped in after finding the other restaurants on Lexington too crowded. The service was excellent and the food was great simple and delicious French food. I am still thinking about the baked Camembert.

The appetizer, camenbere, was great. But the mussels didn't taste anything so you didn't want to drink up the "soup" after... But the restaurant was so cute!

Good simple French cuisine done well. Service was solid and the wine list ample. Good for a quick meal before theatre or a bite to eat post shopping in nearby area.

A delightful little independent café, it is great to drop in mid afternoon and have a coffee and something to eat. The atmosphere and décor is great, the food and drink is also fantastic. I will be visiting here again, thank you for a lovely experience.

I was walking through Soho one morning, looking for somewhere to have a coffee and I stumbled across Cafe' Gourmand. The sun was shining, it was a warm (for London) spring morning so I sat outside and had a delicious croissant and the perfect coffee. I like this place because it doesn't try too hard and yet everything about it... More

I happened on this Bistro while in London on business. With the exception of the steak tartare, which seriously ranks in my Top 10, the food was just "good" - that my sound harsh, but the truth is that the atmosphere makes up for it easily. As another said, a little bit of France in London. I'll visit again, and... More

Stumbled upon this for brunch - so glad I did. It was raining outside and I truly felt like I was sheltering in a Parisian café. Avocado on toast was excellent. Reviewed in full on my blog, with photos: http://hyhoi.com/2014/05/cafe-gourmand-french-bistro-soho/

This is where the French go to eat. It is a very romantic setting and very cosy, it reminds me of a parisian restaraunt. It's very quaint and cosy inside great on a rainy day or a cool evening. My girlfriend and I have been here a few times and it has been excellent each time. They really take pride... More

Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
