Staff unapologetic after error made with booking

We went to try out this local bar for my friend's birthday. She emailed to reserve an area and then was told to ring up to confirm. She did and we turned up on time expecting to be led straight to our area. This was not the case though. Clearly the staff member who had arranged the booking was... read more

This was a very interesting and relaxed place, but I am not sure I would easy there again. The food is served in a very unique way in a metal box and it kind of leaves you thinking how do I manage with this. The service is great and friendly and the cocktails are unique and nice, do next time... More

Bar staff friendly, wine prices are very good but food is on a par with something you would buy from Iceland for one pound! Only six people in the bar and we waited 45mins for our food, I would return for a quick cheap drink, but as for the food....stay away, shocking!!!!

Thank you for taking the time to post some feedback on your experience. I am sorry it did not meet your expectations. A forty five minute wait for food is in no way acceptable and something I will look into as to what went wrong. We do take a lot of pride in our food- it is all made fresh... More

The pulled pork sandwich & the chicken sandwich were to die for! The house coleslaw was very well done & the chunky chips to finish the meal all served up in a classic tin lunch box!!! Great service and great atmosphere even on a Monday night. Highly recommended.

We arrived with quite high expectations after seeing everyone rant and rave about this place. The interior is quirky, and different, which is nice, and was also rather comfy and it was nice to chill out whilst it wasn't so busy. I had the pesto and mozzarella risotto balls to start, which were rather yummy and I could have eaten... More

I went to visit the upstairs bar of the Toy Shop Bar as a 'maybe' for a private function to celebrate my 30th. From the minute I got in there the staff were all overly friendly and so helpful. I was given a tour of the area I would be hiring out and given a run down of the food... More

I love this place. You will get the best service with a smile and the most amazing cocktails in a very open and welcoming environment.

Great for 2 for 1 cocktails but the cocktail list happens to be rather short. And all are very sweet. Which is a shame for someone who likes bitter.

Very disappointed with our experience. Far too crowded, worst cocktails we've ever had. So bad that we couldn't drink them but due to how crowded it was, any attempt to take them back and explain they were disgusting was futile. The toilets were shocking. Really not acceptable for a London cocktail bar and restaurant. Decor pretty basic and generally underwhelming.... More
