...to Fuller's. Currently the best pub in London, gets incredibly busy in the summer. Fuller's have a very hard act to follow.

Stand outside in the summer, or sit at the fully folding windows, to watch the world go by, nursing an excellently-kept real ale for company. Try their excellent sausages too - but get there early, they sell out quickly!

The Harp is a small bar with a big reputation - and rightly so. It has a vibrant atmosphere, a pleasant, somewhat old school decor, and very friendly staff. There is an impressive array of beers available and a lounge area upstairs. Worth a visit.

Great service, excellent fish and chips, nice decor, convenient location great beer. Not much more I can say. There was this small pile of green semi-liquid on the plate along side my chips n fish. I believe this is a British delicacy derived mostly from peas and is known as "mushy peas". With only a modest amount of maneuvering i... More

We visited this pub yesterday. It is very small though packs a a big punch in the ale category - we tried some of the on tap ales which were marvelous - I recommend coming here when in london

Chanced upon this pub when we were looking for some refreshment before Le Tour de France whizzed by. A real ale lovers dream with 8 on offer plus several `real` ciders. I had a pint from `Dark Star` one of my favourite breweries and the obligatory sausage sandwich which hit the mark !

We found this place by chance. I cannot tell you how glad I am that we did! The beers rotate, the food is fresh and goes quick and the staff are friendly and knowledgable. Five stars are not enough.

There are very few places in London where you can get lunch for less than £10. The Harp is 100 yards from the dead centre of London and you can get lunch for about £7. This is a pint of one of their many real ales or ciders and a sausage sandwich. The sausage selection changes every day and they... More

Great choice of real ale and friendly staff. Area out the back to sit ibn the sun or smoke. Upstairs seating also. Loved it. Saly the sausages had sold out by the time we got there.

This pub has deserved its reputation as one of the best in London for real ales. Once you have fought your way to the bar there is an impressive selection on display and the service is swift and attentive. While prices are not cheap on a global scale they are very reasonable for Central London. The main drawback is the... More
