Champagne afternoon tea at the Ritz!

What a wonderful experience. The elegant dining room and superb wait staff enrich this afternoon tea. The sweet and savory treats were wonderful. The kitchen also accommodated our friend who is lactose intolerant. This is a lovely dining experience not to be missed when traveling to London.

This place is simply outstanding in every imaginable way possible. It has been my family's all-time-favourite place for the past 20 years and will continue to be for the future years to come. We recommend this restaurant in the highest possible terms.

Went there for my friends 80th birthday walked into the Ritz and that was better than my expectations...then we had afternoon tea went downhill after that bland sandwiches, poor selection of cakes, the scones only had 1 or 2 currents in each. We're really disappointed we all went there with high expectations but felt very let down by the whole... More

My daughter bought my wife & I a lunch voucher for Xmas, So I don't know what it cost? Beautiful building & lovely looking restaurant. Nice seating on very comfy chairs, lots of space between tables. I had high hopes for a lovely tasting meal. Once the waiter was aware we were on a "meal deal" he replaced the regular... More

The foods and drinks were amazing but their service wasn't impressive. It was extremely slow, even though the restaurant was not busy and we told them that we have to leave soon after the meal, it took long long time to get the bill. When I dine there again, I won't make any other plans after meal or will leave... More

Staying in Mayfair

Neighborhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
