We had a fab evening with some friends out of town. The cocktails are some of the best we have ever had - Honey Smash, Derby. Intense but not overpowering flavors. Service, needless to say, was attentive despite a crowded night.

Most people living/working in East London are used to the sickly sweet, too fruity generic cocktails most of Shoreditch high street & the surrounding area serves up (I'm looking at you Barrio East & The Shoreditch), so it was with slight trepidation that I went to Nightjar last night, starting to become immune to the 'cool' spots, torn between wanting... We kind of stumbled upon this place following a conversation with a stranger in a nearby bar. We thought we'd give it a try on our way to the nearby (and awesome) Three Crowns, not realising how lucky we were to rock up at the door with no booking and get a table for an hour. We arrived and left... More

From the outside, the bar seems like the entrance to a basement and you wonder why there are so many people queuing to enter. But when you actually ente and go down the stairs to the basement / bar, you understand why it is so hype. FIrst, the bar is really well decorated, and there is such an amazing good... More

Went to this bar with a group of 6 on a Saturday night having booked a month or two in advance. It was well worth the wait. From the friendly welcome at the unassuming entrance (sandwiched in between two cafes) to the amazing cocktails and a fab jazz band, all made for a brilliant speakeasy experience. You should definitely believe... More

I booked a table for 2 for an early Sunday evening following the vastly positive feedback found on TripAdvisor. This bar is the perfect place to take a date to. The atmosphere is very pleasant and warm. The service is what one would expect from a great cocktail place. I let the waitress guide me in my cocktail choices that... More

From dry ice to sides of candyfloss and rum cake the drinks at Nightjar aren't your usual run of the mill cocktails. They all are very creative and some incredibly alcoholic such as the Zombie Barrel with 4 different types of rum plus other spirits. Drinks are priced around £10-14 and most were long drinks that will last you a... More

one of the best 'secret' bars in London. the atmosphere is fantastic. It is better to visit the bar on Friday or Saturday since there is live jazz music on these days. the cocktails are well-presented and the service is really nice. the only drawback is that it is difficult to make find a table on the weekend in the... I went there two times with my friends, and I think this should be the first cocktail bar on the London list. Large choice of drinks, beautiful atmosphere, lovely service.

This is my favourite bar in London. The service is fantastic, the cocktails are amazing and the venue is awesome. I've gone with my boyfriend, as well as in a group and it works no matter what. It's well priced - especially as the cocktails are so exquisite, and you always get a little treat on the side. If you... More
