Consistently good

I eaten here on a few occasions and have had a great evening every time. They do some fantastic deals on taster menus that I'd recommend. The food is beautifully presented with great flavours, the staff are friendly, and the wine is good. On this occasion we had taken quite a long time over our... read more

Myself and a couple of girlfriends went out here for my Birthday, enticed by the 7 course tasting menu with a glass of fizz each thrown in (3 people cost £87.00). The food was pretty decent - I'd have given this rating an extra star for the Stilton and Cauliflower Veloute alone, which was stunning, and the Tiger Prawn, Squid... More

The tasting menu was a delightful series of tasty and well presented dishes. On the night we visited, there were not many other diners in the restaurant so it did lack a bit of atmosphere but the food and service made up for this

Really relaxing tasting dinner. No rush and a nice atmosphere. On occasion slightly slow service but never really an issue. Would go back especially when the terrace opens

I left feeling very disappointed and won't return. The food was nice, but nothing to write home about. The service was really slow between courses and we waited almost an hour between one of the 6 course. The one thing this place does have is nice views and a brilliant manager. After us speaking to him, he did his best... More

Went to Quartier as my partner got a good deal on Living Social - 7 course taster menu and a bottle of champers for £58! The food was very good and beautifully presented. There wasn't any loud background music and the service was polite and not rushed. Would recommend it for a special occassion.

4 of us dined here with an on line offer that included 2 bottles of champagne with an 8 course meal. Service was good, food likewise. Would be happy to dine here again especially if another offer like that turns up again !

On all my visits to Quartier Restaurant I had very good food and service, without fail. And it is pleasantly quiet, no loud background music or noise. It is great to actually have a conversation with the people you lunch or dine with! I shall certainly return as often as I can

I hosted a business lunch here and it went very well. The decor is smart/ understated chic and the tables well spaced. Being on the 8th floor, the dining room is light and airy at roof top level. The staff was helpful and professional. There was a good selection on the a la carte menu and some items were available... More

Staying in City of London

Neighborhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighborhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighborhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
