Delicious ice cream

Absolutely delicious ice cream, easily as good, if not better, than ice cream you would buy in Italy. I ordered a medium dark chocolate cone which was suitable for vegans, so tasty and obviously made with a high quality chocolate. The size of the ice cream scoop for the price is also very... read more

Have you ever tried 'Basil and Chili' icecream? What about 'Honey, Rosemary and Orange Zest' or Cross Buns' icecream? If you are bored of the same flavours from the multitude of 'samey' gelatieras springing up all over central London, this is for you. The joint is very small, the icecream expensive, but worth the visit, if onlu just to give... More

After reading the excellent reviews we visited La Gelatiera this Afternoon. The ice cream was amazing, but sadly the chap who served us was not. There was no welcome let alone a please or thankyou. To be honest it felt like we were just an inconvenience to him. The presentation of the ice creams was also shoddy at best with... More

Delicious gelato and sorbets at this artisan gelatiera. Dark chocolate sorbet particularly yummy but loads of different flavours to try. All made daily. Worth a visit if you're in the Covent Garden area.

I went to La Gelatiera on Saturday 7th March with my two sons. It's the second time we've been there as a family, although my Uni son has been there a few times with his housemates. Absolutely LOVE the authentic industrial vintage decor and the ice cream is to die for! I had fig & chocolate, salted caramel, and apple... More

They have excellent ice cream! I had nocciola flavour, but they have a lot of chooses: from vanilla or dark chocolate to basil and chilli or sea salted caramel. Cakes are not brilliant, but it's definitely worth a visit for the ice cream.

Some of the gelato on offer feels exotic, but have to be tried. The honey, rosemary and orange zest gelato is wonderful. The size of the gelato is also more than enough for a treat. Whether summer or winter: enjoy. The decor is old and less appealing than Snowflake which is in Soho. But the gelato at both is fantastic.

As I got the chance to taste some of their flavours I was speechless. Interesting comibinations, one of a kind artisan gelato which definitely does not compare with other chains selling ice cream around the city. Surely I'll be back soon!

Hi. I visited the shop yesterday afternoon with a friend and we were left shocked at the male member of staff and his attitude. The ice cream was lovely but his attitude towards us was awful! Probably the worst I have ever had. He chatted and laughed with some girls before asking us what we wanted and looked unimpressed about... More
