Best salted caramel ice cream!

Although a little cramped (we sat in to eat), the gelato was amazing and at a reasonable price. We had a small cone but the serving was plenty. The salted caramel gelato was the best I've ever tasted. Amazing! Would definitely visit again. The queue was out the door at one point and it's easy to... read more

If you're looking for real Italian ice cream, served by Italians, then look no further than La Gelatiera. The first time I visited was with friends after eating dinner in Chinatown. Coffee and brownies were the order of the evening. Superb. The second, similar, occasion was when I went for the chocolate ice cream. Now there's no going back to... More

The ladies of "La Gelatiera" have sign standing in front of their tiny Gelatiera telling that this might be the best ice in the world.. I am not sure about that it is for sure the best ice at New Row. They have some of the traditional flavours and some really innovative ones like "honey, rosemary and orange zest" or... More

We visited La Gelatiera a couple of times while we were in London, and after eating in Covent Garden. The staff - Italian - were lovely. Helpful and friendly last at night and proving great service, delicious coffee and divine puddings/sweets. We had no ice cream late at nigh, but it all looked fantastico!! The place was busy with tourists... More

Excellent gelato. Service was warm and friendly, offering tastes before selecting. It's tiny, so be prepared to get close to others as you snuggle up to the counter. On a whim I tried the orange blossom and rosemary gelato - was not a mistake, in fact, I loved it. While I didn't purchase any baked goods they looked to be... More

The ice cream itself was indeed delicious, and I can understand why it has won awards. Sadly we received terrible service and subsequently I would not return again. There was a large group in front of us asking to taste this and that, and were obliged with a smile and a friendly chat with the female member of staff working.... More

This place is absolutely wonderful. I am SO pleased I found out about it. So refreshing to be able to go somewhere that has more than just a lemon sorbet for a vegan option. My friend and I and her son went there and it had 6 options to pick from. I went for the dark chocolate and oh my... More

I tried their lemon gelato in a relaxed surrounding. There was a wide variety of ices to choose from and very child friendly. Service was quick and polite. It was the perfect choice for a refreshing treat.
