Best gelato in London? Maybe so

Their sign suggested that they might serve the best gelato in London. Based on the peanut butter/salty caramel/chocolate gelato, I'm in no position to disagree! It was simply divine.

Went to La Gelateria today. The chocolate chili was wonderful, so dark and the taste of chillies was perfect. I also had sea salted caramel. Lovely, smooth!

Really nice ice cream right in the heart of Covent Garden! The place is quite cosy but it´s usually crowded. I tried different flavours and they were all very good but I didn't enjoy the straciatella at all. Worst I've ever had, not up to standard!

We usually have a costume to look at the queues to decide where to go to eat in our trips, specially if they are full of locals. We found our this icecream shop in our way from the Covent Garden and Trafalgar Square. As the italian name makes clear, their speciality are the icecreams so we did not tried the... More

Very reasonable price for icecream in London. On many occaisions I have walked past and not noticed this little gem and I am so glad I spotted it this weekend. Lots of origional flavours, I have the chilli and Basil , my sister had the nutella and the hazelnut. All were gorgeous

Creative flavours, amazing taste using REAL organic ingredients, it does make a difference. Various range of vegan sorbets, my favourite are "pistacho sorbet" and "chocolate sorbet". You will go there once and then over and over again, La Gelatiera offers the best gelato in London, indeed.

Nice and fresh icecream, some tasted a bit bland. Much have the chocolate and chili, and the peanutbutter is worth the trip alone.

Among the best gelato I've had in London. The selection includes classic flavours done very well and some innovative ones too. We had the pistachio sorbet, alphonso mango, and orange zest, honey and rosemary (I think) and all were delicious. Will definitely go back to try the rest.

I absolutely love this place and I come here for ice cream every time I come to London. I have tried a few flavours and I like all of them but the best one by far is the rosemary, honey and orange. I love how many unusual flavours they have here because you find things that you can't get anywhere... More
