The upshot - unbelievably overpriced - tiny tiny tiny portions - see photo - that's the entirety of the octopus and chorizo skewers! + A lovely waitress who could not be more helpful called Nassira. - The worst attitude from a manager that i have ever had - who told us we should've walked out when we saw the portions... I get that this restaurant wants to add a little something different to the average outside-your-house eating experience but the price does not accurately reflect the service or quality of food. You really are just paying for the locale and 'prestige' of being allowed entrance. Glad to say I have been - will not return.

We were a little cautious given some of the reviews here, and the seemingly strict booking policy, but we went ahead and booked a table for a friends birthday. I must admit we are so glad we did. Nestled through an unassuming door in Compton street you descend into the gloomy cavernous cellars. The welcome was polite and professional. Decent... More

A couple of nights ago a couple of friends and I went here, first off I couldn't find the place because number 12 is a sex shop.... That is my own prudish fault. Secondly the timing within are so strict, you book for a certain time till a certain time there is no leeway. We really were told to leave:... More

We were looking for a spot for a light eat and a great caprioska. We found both. The caprioska is brilliant, well done to my man behind the bar, one of the best I've tasted. Staff are fantastic, food is delicious. Eat the churos, it's sensational. A top little find.

Very soho - it's more about the vibe and setting than mindblowing food, great location bridging soho and the 7 dials area of Covent Garden and lovely helpful enthusiastic staff. I booked in advance and ate early just before the London crowds flooded the place, I am glad I went to try it but won't be rushing back any time... More

To me a restaurant is about food , ambience and staff. The ambience is great. Very atmospheric with a lot of character , I like the surroundings etc a lot but others may not. The food is decidedly indifferent. I have been a few times. The welcome from the staff at the door is very tepid. The waiting staff are... More

I'm sure you could argue that the portions could be bigger or the service a bit quicker, but this isn't just about going out for dinner - it's an experience; from finding the the right entrance that is laid out like a sex shop, to going underground to be immersed in a Mexican style speak easy, it makes for a...
