I was so bizarre seeing the negative reviews about K&L on Trip Advisor.. I've been coming to this small gem at the heart of Farringdon for over a year now and I've never been disappointed! The menu can seem daunting at first but the servers guide you through it smoothly. For those complaining about the bread being charged separately -... More

Driving out of London on Sunday stopped for a spot of German Sausage. You an barely see the place at the moment for Crossrail excavations and barriers. Yes it is small and sometimes availability seems a bit on and off but if you want something that isn't a burger or cotton wool chicken it's a nice change. Krakauer, Hope I... More

So the food is not going to blow your mind. the end. But the overall package is actually pretty good and makes a change from going to Pret for lunch. So its a small place opposite the famous Smithfield Meat Market. Live cooking for 3 or 4 German Bratwursts, pork, pork and beef mix and smoked beef... all are pretty... More

I work nearby and have been here a couple of times. It's fine - the sausages and sauerkraut were pretty good, but the other side dishes were disappointing. There's a few good German beers as well, but they are pretty expensive. Service is fine, but it's fairly cramped - there's only indoor seating for a few people at counters along... More

Sausages are excellent, can't fault those. The sauerkraut is good too. Go for fries over the potatoes as they are always a bit mushy and don't really warm through properly. Pretzels are good too. Eating in gets a bit cramped as there isn't much space. Good takeaway though

My wife and I were very excited to find your store in London on our way to Bird of Farringdon, so we decided to come the next day and try your Bratwurst. Bratwurst mit Sauerkraut for me and Bratwurst with chips for my wife, and of course a Hefeweizen for me. There was obviously somebody ‘German’ behind the counter, another... More

I am a worker in London and fully understand that “just by breathing London air” I am prone to paying slightly over the odds for food, entertainment and drinks. It was a warm day (possibly the warmest day of September) and with the glow of sunshine glimmering off of your pretzel shaped advertising sign, it caught my attention and made... More

I so missed the German sausage and the sauerkraut from the streets of Germany so to find this little place - it was really surprising how good the sauerkraut is... Although it was a bit pricey compared to the ones we had in Germany but it was so good that I will most likely go back for more... highly recommended!!!

This tiny little restaurant serves three different kinds of sausages, much like hotdogs, german fried potatoes and sauerkraut. They also have german beers. Prices are reasonable, the food tastes great and the service is wunderbar. I say, Go, if you like this kind of food. This is where, I suspect, the Queen goes when she wants to celebrate her germanic... More

Tiny place but hiding the best sausage bar in London. Better range of sausages compare to Herman ze German which is really its main competitor. They are both really good but this place just aces Herman for value and size of portion as the choice is just a bit wider. Worth seeking out.
