Food great, plentiful, and reasonably priced, but forghetti about quick service... Would have definitely received 4 stars if not for the terribly slow service. It took almost 3 hours to receive 3 courses with a painful number of customers waiting for attention at any given time. There was just one poor waitress left to serve a full restaurant on a... More

In it's glory days this was the perfect Italian. But they lost the chef that made it so great and have never really recovered. It's just ok now, good for a quick pizza and the service is excellent but a sad shadow of it's former glory.

I can honestly say that this was one of the best Italian meals me and my boyfriend have ever had. We chose this place initially because of the Tastecard discount. It is located in quite a dodgy area of Bethnal Green, so we did not expect that much of it. Yet, we were really positively surprised by the atmosphere in... More

The food was good. The selection great and the prices were reasonable. The food portions were okay and service was fine.

We were staying this week at the Town House Hotel in Bethnal Green (which is very nice) and were at a loss one evening for somewhere to walk to. We took a chance on this little low-key Italian and were very pleasantly surprised. I has the special of crab stuffed ravioli and it was delicious - obviously cooked from scratch.... More

Two of us visited, and we had a nice meal. The pizza bread (garlic mozzarella bread) was delicious. The wine was alright, but there could be more choice, and they did not have steak (the bloke does not like Italian food - pizza and pasta), but he managed to try a chicken dish and really liked it. I had the... More

Located in Bethnal Green area it gives you a real taste of Italian cousine. We had amazing time in a very nice restaurant with lovely staff. Highly reccomended place and the best Pizza in the city of London!

Having some time to kill in the area, some friends and I were looking simply for coffee shop. We choose this place rather than the 'naff caff' next door as we thought it might have nice coffee.... We found the atmosphere very welcoming and the menu looked enticing so decided on a whim to eat there. What a great decision!... More

We went on a Sunday night, booked well in advance for a party of 12 people, so it was odd that it had 'run out of' bologna se sauce and lasagne! How can that happen in an Italian restaurant? Service was erratic, to say the least, took a while, and was really hard to pay as no one came over... More

Couldn't wait to try this local restaurant. Went Saturday evening, with family. Won't be going back here. I read reviews and thought fantastic, we are in for a lovely meal. Very overrated and avergage AND too expensive for what it was. Lasagne was dry and hardly any meat in it. Garlic bread over cooked. Cold calamari in my pasta sauce.
