I visited here to escape the over-priced cafe at the Museum of Childhood - very glad to have found this place so close by. Seemed to be popular for families. Shared a delicious pizza and bowl of salad with my companion, plus two cups of tea. The pizza was really tasty, very authentic tasting and a good balance of flavours.... More

We are from naples and we don't usually eat pizza that's not made in italy, but We decided to try. We ate an italina and a diavola, which were delicious and above all two of the tastiest pizzas I've eaten abroad. The location wasn't very spacious, but it was pretty nice even though the bathrooms were broken. Anyway We had... More

Nice friendly service, sweet little place nice and clean. Food portions modest, for both the Lasagne and Risotto dishes. The chicken dish was described as having an accompaniment of a 'creamy mushroom sauce', there was no cream in it much to my disappointment, what arrived was a thick brown sauce highly flavoured with mountains of salt and garlic. the mushrooms... A very lovely and cosy place where you can have authentic Italian food. My girlfriend and I had a delicious pizza and starters accompanied by a fine house red wine. The staff were also very nice and welcoming, making us feel at home. I would definitely recommend it!

This is a great little Italian restaurant in Bethnal Green. You could almost miss it as, when we visited, there is no signage outside. It was quite busy so the locals obviously know it so that I itself says a lot for its popularity. Staff were excellent, very friendly and it wasn't contrived; the food was also excellent and the... This place has a nice cute authentic Italian feel to it. Really suits couples, which was the purpose of our visit. Ordered the calamari, which was great, and mozzarella garlic bread, which was massive. Clam spaghetti and chicken piccata were both really good without any complaints. Priced about right for the quality (£12-15 for a main, etc.), they're doing what... More

We started with a pizza like garlic bread and between two of us it was a feed in itself! After that I enjoyed a tomato pasta dish which was lovely and my partner had a spaghetti dish with mussels. The only problem with his meal was the shells were broken and he had to retrieve a few pieces throughout the... More

Excellent pizza and risotto. We visited early on a wednesday evening, so apart from some 'regulars', it was only us. Service was polite, but somehow we didn't feel very welcome. I expect with more customers the atmosphere would have warmed up. Keep your eyes peeled, this restaurant can be easily missed, especially from the other side of the road.

Forget long queues at Franco Manca, forget the sad ending of La Porchetta, forget the buzz of pointless pizzerias round London West End.....real pizza, real people.....London's Italy better than Italy (I am Italian)....eat every week...one of my personal top 3 pizzas in London...LOVE IT!
