We went in for a 2-course meal (ordered nothing that should take a long time) but took each course 50minutes to come out. Although the food was good, we ended up in the restaurant for 2 and a half hours, although there were only 3 other tables.

There's a particular warmth about the service, which I tend to associate with Eastern European culture, that's apparent from the moment you walk in. The interior is very impressive - minimally dressed bar and table tops against kitschy Eurasian wall hangings, making for quite an aesthetic experience in rather drab Islington! The food is excellent. We had a large Khachapuri... More

Authentic atmosphere with very friendly staff (who seem to be native Georgians!). The food is wonderful, great starters but don't order too many as they are filling. I had the fish for main and it was gorgeous. One of my friends had the chicken and it was as good as a Christmas dish!! The music tend to be a bit... More

Set in a spacious room decorated with old movie posters and old telephones ( these last delighted our kids, who have never seen telephones like this before !) Little Georgia is exactly what it claims to be - a piece of Georgia in London, serving authentic food, providing attentive yet discreet service. The menu is quite extensive, without being too... The service was wonderful here on my two visits in June and July. The staff knew the menu, the wine was lovely on each occasion and the vegetarian selection was really great. I've been as a couple and a group - the atmosphere is good for both and the khachapuri is lovely. Other good veggie items are borscht, bean stew... More

Fans of Georgian food know that it's hard to find outside of the former USSR, especially hard to find outside of Georgia, and frequently terrible when you do finally find it (I'm looking at you, every Brighton Beach "Georgian" place). We were delighted with the level of authenticity and quality at Little Georgia in Islington. The restaurant itself is kitschy... More

Sit upstairs or outside on one of the two tables if it's lunch time and sunny. Get the Borscht - it's cheap and delicious. Great wines! Relaxed atmosphere and candle light in the evenings. Nice pubs nearby on Broadway Market - The Dove is cosy!

For our group of 6 in the early evening the restaurant was initially quiet. Service was not over attentive, but adequate. Food delicious, could perhaps have been hotter. Have not had this cuisine before; reminiscent of Greek food. Cheesy eggy bread very good as part of excellent mixed shared starter. Lovely Georgian wines. We had a great evening. Very good... More

Off the beaten track between Angel and Kings Cross – and definitely worth a visit. Delicious food; beetroot salad, aubergine, chicken liver and been stew – very tasty. Great Georgian redwine (Mukuzani). Funky décor. No online booking – so call them instead.

I was a little apprehensive as I hadn't eaten Georgian food before but so glad we went. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, food is comforting and tasty but not heavy. Would recommend the cheesy eggy bread starter (wonderful!) and lamb kebab main. Excellent value. Interesting and warm atmosphere. I'll be going again!
