Combining hundreds of years of the Italian tradition in the art of preparing food with the new style and concepts of the restaurant business, LA PIETRA is welcoming you to enjoy a relaxing evening, an invigorating lunch or a good breakfast to start your day. Whether you are a "foodie" or you are looking for low-calories meals, we offer a big variety of dishes, from which you will have plenty of choices to make your stay in our restaurant perfect. Our chef and his team will delight you with dishes prepared in our traditional wooden oven, served on hot stone plates. All dishes are prepared on-the-spot, nothing is precooked. All vegetables are fresh, not frozen and all sauces are made in-house. Even the pasta and the bread, not to mention the pizza dough, are made in-house, following traditional Italian recipes. We make them using full grain ingredients to give you the best pastries taste you ever had. But no meal is good enough without a tasty wine next to it. LA PIETRA offers an extensive collection of international wine from which you can select the wine of your choice. As the song goes, "A bottle of red, a bottle of white / It all depends upon your appetite / I'll meet you any time you want / In our Italian Restaurant." LA PIETRA also provides a "deli shop" where you can purchase our home-made pasta and bread so that you can take with you and enjoy, at home, the wonderful taste of our pastries. We will be more than happy to have you as one of our patrons and we are absolutely sure you will be coming again. LA PIETRA - The new Italian Style.

Visited here with some friends, but unfortunately the food just wasn't nice. Starters was ok, a pizza/flat bread, but the chicken pesto gnocchi was not good. Very very heavy on the pesto, and just didn't seem to be cooked right. Dessert however looked awesome (I didn't have any, but friends enjoyed it). A shame, but I wouldn't go back.

This restaurant has a marvellous friendly atmosphere with super antipasti you can help yourself to and Andrew's own made cocktails are a must. Delicious!

This is an intimate, quiet restaurant in a hard to find street, Peter St in Soho - but boy is it worth the search. Here you will find a warm, charming welcome from the front of house, very efficient waitering and creative cocktail making from Andrew, and inventive pizzas and great dishes from the chefs. The decor is superb: dark... More

Please bear with me, I'm a first time reviewer, my dormant critic having been awakened by my shocking experience with this restaurant. Firstly, our order... The "special" pizza, Pompei, the Pollo Pesto Gnocchi and 2 drinks (total above £30 incl. dinein delivery). The Pompei is accompanied with a message stating "Warning: This is very hot!". At least the got the... More

We ate here on a Sunday evening. We didn't have a reservation but were shown to a table promptly. We really enjoyed our food, pasta, pizza and dessert. The service felt a bit robotic and rather unfriendly. Despite this we would eat here again if we are back in London.

We had dinner in La Pietra about one month ago. We booked for 9:45pm and once we got there they said that kitchen was closed (obviously the waitress didn't check the reservations). Once they found out our reservation, the waitress brought us to the table with a visible unhappy face. In 5 mins 2 different waitress came and said that... More

I am Italian and to be honest it's not the typical Napoletan pizza but was good and tiramisu as well. I can advice this place but... The staff I am a bit perplexed. The waiter was nice but the maitre was looking us in a weird way just because we booked with the Monday discount. Hope was just a wrong... More
