Good fun

A bit quirky but great place. Intimate surroundings great cheese well presented on your chosen platters with chilled champagne. Not hassled by the waiting staff. Great unusual venue. We all enjoyed it and would def return.

Arrived as part of a package deal that included a glass of champaign and 3 courses each, waitress gave us a glass of champaign when we sat down and then explained that we might want an extra glass of champaign and just share 3 dishes between us as its a lot of food. We took her up on the offer... More

OK the name of the restaurant gives you a clue, but Champagne (or soft drinks), maybe OK for some, but to exclude other beverages seems odd to me. I like the odd glass and my wife likes it a lot, but I had water rather than a second glass, when I wanted to transfer to rouge! Having said that the... More

I booked the afternoon tea offer for 24pounds. 3 choices of cheese, 2 small round pieces of flat breed, 1 glass of house champagne, tea and macaroons. I did not feel it was an offer and 24pounds was expensive for what it was. Nice place, very small and quaint. Very casual.

A little touch of France in Covent Garden! Staff were lovely and helpful, champagne was a delight and the different cheeses were sublime! It was a relaxed, enjoyable and very different experience! Happy Birthday to me, with cheese on top!

We reserved a table after our theatre show. Went there at 17.30 on a Sat and the place wasn't very busy. All the staff were French and knew about good champagne. We loved the fondue and the charcuterie we had! One thing that I'd change is the bread served with the dishes ; I'd prefer freshly cut baguette. Lovely candlelit... More

I came in tired and hungry, well after the lunch rush. I was the only person in the small spot, and they could not have been nicer to me. I talked about wanting to try different things, and the server made me a lovely custom cheese and charcuterie plate, paired with a champagne of her choice. It was a perfect... More

Had a wonderful lunch here with five friends - sampled many different cheese boards, the French onion soup (fantastic!!), and of course many bottles of champagne. Highly recommend it!

My husband and I love champagne so I treated him for his birthday - booked easily but were running late, I phoned ahead and it wasn't a problem. We were welcomed very politely and friendly, into the very cute, cosy, atmospheric and quirky French restaurant, and were shown to our table (but we're told a better table would be free... More

We had an amazing evening. It was our first visit and we were not disappointed. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. Good is homely and tasty. Tartiflette is scrumptious. Ouef cocotte also amazing. I am happy to say we have found a new regular haunt in Covent Garden- even better they sell cheese and champagne to go. Incredible. Do... More
