I adore Champagne+Fromage, I'm French and when I am in London I like to grab a tartine and a glass of Champagne. The company of Maud and Stefano, the owners, is lovely. The cheese is just amazing and the champagne excellent and afordable.

"Hello, the kitchen is closing in an hour" is not the welcome you expect to hear when you arrive on time for a confirmed restaurant booking. But this is what happened when we arrived at 8pm on a Sunday evening. Being in the middle of Covent Garden we should immediately have left and found somewhere more welcoming. However, we persevered... More

I booked Champagne + Fromage online for 8pm on a Sunday evening. We arrived at 8:05 and the waitress told us to order quickly as it closed at 9pm , I said that if the online booking system allow me to book at 8pm , does not seem quite right that the place close at 9pm but the waitress said... More

Having read good reviews on this niche restaurant, we were disappointed in the food and service. It wasn't bad, but it certainly didn't warrant good. Cramped room, very slow service, odd presentation of food and portion sizes inconsistent. All dishes could be starters, but not main size. The best bit was the kir royal which was delicious!

We were not greeted but had a reservation so eventually grabbed or table. This prompted the staff to ask us what we were doing and set the standard for the service. Charcuterie and cheese selections were not particularly good and the cheese took an eternity to arrive but at least the champagne was up to scratch.

Went before the theatre, very small so go when just opened or book if you can! Had the champagne very nice but pricey 4 glasses plus a small charcuterie £60! Great place to relax would of liked to of tried other things on the menu but didn't have time, would go back on a visit to London and would reccommend!

My friend and I tried this afternoon booking on the Internet. Very small and friendly atmosphere with great champagne and food. Very relaxing. Quite expensive, but worth it.

Booked a table online for the family and the table was indeed reserved for us. Simple menu but all good things! Kids love their snails and cheese boards. Great selection of champagnes. Service was a bit slow but ok and prices for the area were very reasonable. Highly recommended.

My friend treated me to a champagne afternoon tea here after we had a makeover and photo shoot as a late birthday treat. It's a small restaurant but charming..... Our tea consisted of a selection of gorgeous cheeses (our favourites being one containing cumin and a soft ewe's milk one which smelt of the worst feet you can imagine!) bread,... More
