Fantastic meal with a real intimate feel. Very friendly service and had something I hadn't tried before which was Deep Freid Trout with soya chilli and Garlic YUM!! Masaman curry was amazing a good bench mark for any Thai restaurant goer. would Highly recommend

The best Thai restaurant in London area. This tiny place in Sutton, Surrey is run by a Thai lady who creates cuisine masterpieces and the presentation of the food is like a dream. The absolutely best Masaman curry (whether with lamb, chicken, beef or prawns) and all dishes are made with passion and the seasoning is just magnificent. It is... More

from the reviews we decided to try it. Service so bad, time wise, people chasing their dishes and taking over an hour per course and it wasn't even busy. Pad Thai noodles hard and chicken had 'jelly like' texture. I are coconut rice and green curry sauce only. Starter was £11.95 for a mixed starter and tasteless. Back to Regional... More

I do like this restaurant, having been to Thailand many times, we where trying to recapture the moment. Staff are lovely very Thai, happy to chat and talk about our trips to Thailand. The meal was good, but lacked the Thai lustre, but that seems to be the case in most Thai restaurants in the uk. The menu is very... More

I love this place! I am not going to write about the food as you can make your own mind up about that. Rather the reason I love to attend this eatery is because of the wonderful woman that works there. She is truly a diamond of a waitress and often regales us with tales of the kitchen and the... This place looks terrible from the outside and rather bizarre when you first walk in, however the staff are lovely and the food is good. They are always extremely helpful about my food allergy and have always been able to advise what I should have without any concern. The menu is fairly simple but for a good, basic thai meal... More

We went last night, stumbled on it, the restaurant is upstairs so you could walk past like we have many times and not notice it. Such a treat when you walk up the stairs, really cosy restaurant, staff very friendly and excellent service, food was delicious, we've found our new Thai fav, see you soon.

We visited number One Thai in July and returned again in August. Welcoming staff, family run business with a love for their food. The restaurant was quiet on both occasions that we visited, but the atmosphere and lighting is always warm. Highly recommend the green Thai chicken curry and the beef noodles!

Friendly staff and genuine thai cuisine in a cosy setting that makes you feel as though you are dining in a fine restaurant in Bangkok rather than in Sutton!!!! Reasonable prices help make this a memorable experience. Highly recommended.
